In the mood for a cozy campfire? You don’t need a permit for a “s’mores-sized” fire.
Just keep in mind the following rules:
Use only dry, seasoned firewood
Don’t make the fire larger than 3 feet across
Never leave a fire unattended
Extinguish with water when done
Do NOT bury fires on the beach - this can cause serious injury to others!

07/03/2024

Our beaches attract excited visitors of all ages. A sharp eye can help keep everyone safe.
Please be aware that we do not have a surf rescue team in our city and there are no lifeguards on the beach.
Parents, please stay close to your children. Small ones should be within arm’s length. Keep a weather eye on older, more adventurous kids, too. It doesn’t take long for the ocean to overwhelm overly-confident kids.
We recommend everyone who enters the water wear a life jacket.
Keep a blanket handy - our water is cold all year round!
