📚 📒 📚 School is almost starting and I want to ask you a favor, sit down with your child for 5 minutes and explain that there is no reason to make fun of someone for being tall, short, chubby, skinny, black, white or hispanic.
There's nothing wrong with wearing the same shoes 👞 👟 every day.
Explain to them that a used backpack 🎒 carries the same dreams as a new one.
❤ Please teach them not to exclude anyone for "being different" or not having the same possibilities as another. Explain to them that teasing hurts... and that school is for going to LEARN, NOT to compete ❤️

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 42 delivering a July Birthday cake and ice cream to the veterans at the Biloxi VA🇺🇸🥰

It was a pleasure meeting Lisa Williamson the American Legion Auxiliary National President 🇺🇸

Unit 42, Ocean Springs on the move!! Several of us had the pleasure of helping decorate and and serve refreshments at the Senior Prom for the patients of the Ocean Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center. What fun! We wish we could show you how awesome they looked! Kudos to the staff for providing a wonderful party!

Today, Unit 42 treated some veterans and staff from the Biloxi VA to lunch at Port City Cafe in Biloxi. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

American Legion Unit 42 provided funding for Buddy Sports to purchase an adapted saddle for special-needs children and adults to ride horses.

Delivering the baby shower gifts to the Biloxi VA. A joint effort by American Legion Auxiliary Unit 42 and the American Legion Post 42.  This is what you call teamwork🥰🇺🇸

Auxiliary members assisting the American Legion this school year with their annual project, “Flags for First Graders”. What a blessing to interact with the children and teach them the importance of the flag, how to maintain and respect it and what it represents.

I want to thank everyone that made this event possible, including our friends from Bay St. Louis and Waveland. This weekend is about our men and women that has sacrificed their life for our country and we must remember them🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Unit 42 on the Move! Several of us visited the Ocean Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center yesterday to help their patients celebrate. I wish we could show you how much fun they had hunting eggs. They also got a visit from The Easter Bunny!
