Great advice!

My first job out of college was working with youth who were on a trial home placement with their family and working their way out of state custody. In my graduate program they didn't teach us how to do therapy especially family therapy. We learned theories and such but I felt pretty inadequate as a therapist. I went to my supervisor for help and his answer was fake it til you make it Camille, no one really knows how to do therapy. That didn't help me at all. I had to face it til I made it and became proficient. Facing our short comings and figuring things out through trial and error helps us to grow in ways we can't imagine right now. So if you are faking it, try facing it instead.

Hello everyone!! I want to let you all know I am seeing clients again after a long sabbatical. I will be doing trauma focused mental health therapy in person at Synchronicities in Sandy, UT. I will also be offering Advanced Energy Work, group healing sessions and some classes. I no longer accept insurance but still take HSA. Besides trauma I specialize in LGBTQIA+ issues and energy psychology. If you're looking for a therapist that integrates energy work and counseling in their sessions look no further!

I do have a trauma intensive outpatient individual program where you can resolve your trauma in less than a week working one on one with me every day for at least 5 days. This is only for those who are ready to be symptom free from their trauma or PTSD.
