The power of a pause (even if it’s not under the mistletoe🌿). Sounds easy, right? I assure you, it’s harder than it sounds. In the hustle and bustle of the world we live in, I want to challenge you this holiday season to slow down and practice pausing.

1. Pausing allows you to slow down and be in the present moment.
2. Pausing for 60-90 seconds before you speak can be the difference between a reaction and a response.
3. As the end of the year approaches, take some time to pause and reflect on the closing year, as well as the new year ahead.
4. Pressing pause allows you to connection with your children and those loved ones around you.
5. The power of pausing allows your body and mind to rest and reset.

Co-regulation is where it all begins and where it all ends. We instinctively co-regulate our babies, and we instinctively co-regulate our dying loved ones. Let’s not forget about all the moments in-between. We need each other now more than ever. 🪴

Where did this year go? Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my dream of owning my own private practice! After working many years in this field, I knew it was time to find my own physical location where I could have the freedom to truly meet people where they are. Never in a million years did I think I would feel so supported during that process. An office space fell into my lap, community supports connected with me, and amazing clients called. I feel so incredibly blessed 🩷 Without the support of my community and surrounding counties, this year wouldn’t have been possible! THANK YOU!
