This is a long, and at times arduous read, but very informative, and for the most part, interesting.

Andre Norton is one of the great writers. She was the first woman to be inducted by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame. She also went by Andrew North and Allen Weston, but in 1934 officially changed her name from Alice Norton to Andre Alice Norton.

“Future Crimes” by Marc Goodman

As you can see by all the tabs, I used this book as a resource for one of my unpublished novels called “The Altridge Syndrome”. It is a 350-page work of fiction about the internet, society, and the way it will shape future generations. It was an incredibly emotional and hard book for me to write, and pretty triggering to many who tried to read it. Eight years ago many of the events in the book seemed nonsensical, but, unfortunately, have since come to pass in the real world. My short story “Tech Torrent” is from the same universe. The Tech Torrents play a major role in the novel. I may publish “The Altridge Syndrome” someday, but not it’s current version.

“Childhood’s End” was the first sci-fi book I ever read.

I’ll never forget the feeling I had when I finally finished and set this book down. I was in middle school, and not the most avid reader at the time.
This book not only got me interested in science fiction, something I had only been interested in when it was televised, but it ignited my interest in reading books of all kinds.

I got this gift years ago and recently pulled it off the bookshelf. I had to read the “The Origin of Species” back in college and it had no pictures whatsoever.

It’s not always easy being left-handed.

It’s not too early for Xmas lights now!
