Working to save at risk animals in Oklahoma.
The last pup (HUNTER) from the Homeless Camp 8 was adopted this last week from Oklahoma Humane Society. We are forever grateful for everyone involved to those who shared the pups, the donors, the partner rescues who helped place these babies, and OF COURSE THE ADOPTERS!
WE COULDN’T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!!
❤️❤️❤️
⭐️⭐️ADOPTED⭐️⭐️
🐾🐾🐾This handsome boy from a local shelter is Boss Man. He has been having some neurological problems and we haven’t quite been able to figure it out. He is resting comfortably at our vet today after his neuter. 💤💤
Stay tuned for more Boss Man updates! 🐶
Meet Kincade, the lovable German Shepherd looking for his forever home! This sweet boy is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and is available for foster to adopt. Kincade loves to run and play, and gets along great with kids and other dogs. Due to his size and energy, he may not be best suited for a home with cats. Kincade was rescued from the euthanasia list at a local shelter, and is now ready to find a family to call his own. Could you be the one to give Kincade the love and care he deserves?

💔BELLA WILL DIE TOMORROW (6/21) AT NOON💔
I know I sound like a broken record but Bella got another extension due to the shelter closing early today. SHE IS NOT SAFE.
Sweet Bella had an adopter lined up but he NEVER showed up. Unfortunately, Bella is all out of chances. This is a last ditch effort to get her a home.
Bella ABSOLUTELY LOVES water more than anything. She loves to jump up and catch water being sprayed from a hose or jump in a nice pool to stay cool. This girl is the perfect summer dog! 😎 While Bella isn’t catching waves 🌊, SHE ADORES KIDS!! Bella had a home before but her adopter returned her saying she was picky about dog friends. We don’t know this to be 100% true but -just in case- we’d recommend bringing your dog to meet her before adopting. If you’d like a pure bred 100% certified grade A mutt - BELLA IS IT!!
To adopt Bella - and I mean REALLY ADOPT Bella - RUN to:
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Warr Acres Animal Control
5301 Hammond Ave
Warr Acres, Oklahoma
THEY OPEN AT 9AM TOMORROW.
If you would rather call and leave a message that you are interested in Bella, you can do so by calling police dispatch at (405) 789-3329. Just let dispatch know that you’d like to leave a message with animal control that you are interested in Bella.
🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
If you are interested in fostering Bella, there is no foster program through Warr Acres. You will need to reach out to rescues in the area and ask if you can foster her through them.
Bella deserves a chance.
⭐️⭐️SAFE⭐️⭐️
🐾🐾COURTESY POST🐾🐾
‼️‼️BELLA WILL BE EUTHANIZED TOMORROW (6/20) AT NOON AT WARR ACRES ANIMAL CONTROL‼️‼️
THIS SWEET GIRL IS ALL OUT OF CHANCES. BELLA WAS SPARED PREVIOUSLY BUT NEEDS OUT NOW! SOMEONE PROMISED TO ADOPT BELLA BUT GHOSTED BELLA THE DAY THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO ADOPT!
Bella is a 3 year old Lab mix. She absolutely loves playing in water. She would be great for a family with a pool! Bella also loves kids! ❤️❤️ A previous adopter (who returned Bella) has said that she can be picky about her dog friends so we do recommend introductions prior to adoption. ADOPT THIS SWEET GIRL.
This facility is very small and running out of room. As more and more dogs come through the door, tough decisions are being made. Adopting Bella will save her life.
Bella’s adoption is FREE since she is sponsored. This includes her spay and vaccines. A microchip can be purchased for an additional $25 at the time of adoption.
Bella can be adopted at
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Warr Acres Animal Control
5301 N Hammond Ave
Oklahoma City, OK 73122
They are open Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
If you have any questions, call them at (405) 789-9025 and ask to speak with an animal control officer or simply leave a message for the animal control officer.
Unfortunately, they do not have a foster program so she cannot be fostered through Warr Acres. If you would like to foster, please reach out to rescues in the area to see if they are willing to bring her into their program with you fostering.
We have a huge favor to ask!! 🐾🐾
Two of our boarding dogs rescued from euthanasia are in need of some SERIOUS grooming. We have contacted a groomer and she quoted $90 for Kincaid and $65 for Bruce.
We would like to see if we can raise $155 for her services. 🐩🐩
Bruce is a Labradoodle covered in mats and stickers.
Kincaid is a German Shepherd who is just dirty, matted, and blowing his coat.

Meet Goopy, a charming seal point Siamese cat who is currently available for adoption from our rescue partner - Oklahoma Humane Society. Goopy has had some hardships after possibly being attacked by a dog and being nursed back to health by one of our kind foster parents. This handsome feline is neutered and ready to find his forever home.
Goopy is known for his talkative nature and he’s always eager to communicate with his human companions. He loves to engage in conversations and will happily meow and purr to get your attention. His expressive blue eyes are truly captivating and add to his overall charm.
While Goopy may be selective about his dog and cat friends, he is sure to bond closely with his adoptive family. He thrives on attention and affection, and will quickly become a loyal and loving companion. This boy loves to cuddle!
If you are looking for a special feline friend with a lot of personality, Goopy may be the perfect match for you. Come meet this beautiful Siamese cat with the prettiest blue eyes and give him the loving home he deserves. Adopt Goopy today and experience the joy of having a wonderful companion by your side.
This sweet boy is Kincaid. He was on the euthanasia list at OKC Animal Welfare but we swooped him up just in time. Thanks to volunteers, he’s currently on his way to our vet.
At OKC Animal Welfare, he was dubbed Nicholas. Although that name was fitting, we thought he’d love the name Kincaid since it means strong and courageous ❤️
Kincaid is going to need a lot of care as the shelter said he was having neurological issues and his ears/coat are in rough shape.
If you’d like to donate to Kincaid and dogs like him, you can do so by:
Cashapp $saveoklahomapets
PayPal [email protected]
Or by simply calling our vet Crescent Veterinary Hospital at (405) 969-2639 and asking to donate to “Kincaid”.
We have great news! Our vet was able to save Goopy’s eye and he’s doing amazing in his foster home. Goopy loves people and has loved most of the animals he has met so far (but no birds!). He is the sweetest, most precious boy.
Goopy is now fully vaccinated, FelV/FIV negative, and microchipped.
If that pesky eye would heal, he’d be ready to go! We love you, Goopy!!
WARNING: DISTURBING IMAGE
Thanks to a Good Samaritan, we were able to take in this beautiful boy as well. Unfortunately, he’s in rough shape. Luckily, this boy - we are calling Goopy - is safe at our vet.
Goopy will have a long road to recovery and any donations will be appreciated to help him along the way.

This sweet boy - who we are calling Cherry Garcia - was saved today from the euthanasia list due to our amazing vet, amazing donors, and of course volunteer drivers. It takes a village!
Although Cherry Garcia acts like he has nothing wrong with him, he is in need of a serious eye surgery. We have not gotten a written estimate from our vet yet but we believe it will be around $1000 with boarding this boy for a week or so.
If you would like to donate to Cherry Garcia or any of the new intake dogs and cat, you can do so by:

UPDATE: IN A FOSTER TO ADOPT HOME ❤️
Watch for our girl Mochi to be available for adoption through our partner organization Oklahoma Humane Society.
Here’s a little bit about Mochi -
Mochi is a young 1-3 year old Havenese mix who is finally available for adoption. She is very shy and can be easily overwhelmed when you meet her. After she gets to know you, she is very sweet. She loves to be picked up and loves to sit in your lap but would prefer you take her time to get to that level. She’s playful with other dogs, doesn’t mind cats, but doesn’t do well with young children because they tend to not understand boundaries. Mochi loves responsible children over the age of 10. She also enjoys toys. She is potty and crate trained. She has never had an accident in her foster home. Mochi does very well with a schedule and structure.
Mochi is 12lbs, spayed, microchipped, groomed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
Mochi would be really happy to find an adopter or adopters who possess a great deal of patience. She is not going to be a dog who will immediately be begging for attention. She will be this way in time.
Please reach out to Oklahoma Humane Society at (405) 286-1229 or [email protected] if you are interested in Mochi.
This glow up of our sweet Mochi warms our hearts. Mochi was abandoned in a storage unit for 3 days by her previous owner. When she was found, she was taken straight to OKC Animal Welfare. She was so scared and confused there. Soon, she made her way onto the euthanasia list. This is when we swooped in. She is currently in her foster home, loving life. ❤️❤️
⭐️⭐️UPDATE: GOAL MET⭐️⭐️
‼️‼️RIPLEY STILL NEEDS YOUR HELP‼️‼️
⭐️WE NEED $596 TOWARD HER BLOOD WORK AND MUCH NEEDED DENTAL CLEANING!⭐️
Once again we have to ask for help after one of our board members and her coworkers found this sweet girl running down a busy street in Oklahoma City. This poor girl, who we are calling Ripley, ran for an hour before they were able to catch her. Since she has been caught, she has been absolutely amazing. ❤️
Unfortunately for Ripley, she has a lot of wear and tear on her petite body. She’s been limping on her right hind leg so the fear is that she may have an old broken limb or injury. Ripley appears to been bred multiple times. She was covered in small cuts, bruises, and ticks. Despite all this, Ripley is kind and gentle and so loving toward her foster family and their pets.
Ripley could really use all the support she can get. We have taken her to the vet where she was found to have severe arthritis, an ear infection, and severe dental disease. Our vet has given an estimate for more care. Ripley is in need of bloodwork and dental cleaning with extractions in addition to the orginal estimate. This is a total of $596 for her blood work and dental cleaning.

📢📢We have more amazing news to share!!!
💕More pups from the Homeless camp have been adopted! Pretty Eyes (renamed Linus) was adopted through a partner organization in Oklahoma City. Houndie and Hoppie have also been adopted and are awaiting transport in early April with a partner organization in New Hampshire! We are beyond excited for them and so thankful for all our supporters. 🐾
Stay tuned for more updates!! ❤️❤️
⭐️⭐️UPDATE: BUDDY WAS ADOPTED!⭐️⭐️
⭐️⭐️UPDATE: WE REACHED OUR GOAL!! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THOSE WHO DONATED AND SHARED!⭐️⭐️
❤️ CAN WE GET BUDDY WHAT HE NEEDS ❤️
🐾 This is the lovely, friendly boy named Buddy. He’s at a small rural shelter and in need of some routine medical care. We have not taken him into our care and he is still at the shelter where he was found as a stray. Our goal is to help offset the expenses the shelter incurs so that Buddy’s adoption fee will be reduced. We know someone is going to have to have him.
We want to be able to reduce Buddy’s adoption fee to $0, so we're asking for support! 💙 We're looking to cover his neuter procedure (which costs $55), his vaccines (which amount to $25), and his microchip ($25). Could you or someone you know help to reach our goal of $105 and give Buddy the care he deserves?🌟
We aim to reach this goal this week because there is an adoption event he can attend this weekend!

Remember Little Legs? 😍😍
She was one of the dogs who was surrendered from the homeless camp a few weeks ago. We were able to get her transferred to a partner organization last week and she’s already been adopted! Stand by for other good news 🐾
This is Little Legs (now Chiquita) in her new home!! ❤️❤️ She’s the dog in front!
Sweet Reverie had her surgery yesterday and she is doing great. This girl has shown us that she is a fighter. She is currently eating soft food and still playing with her doggy friend.
We were not able to raise all the funds toward her care. If anyone is able to donate now, that would help pay her medical costs and help us continuing to rescue animals.

‼️‼️YOUR HELP IS STILL NEEDED IMMEDIATELY - REVERIE IS HAVING SURGERY TODAY‼️‼️
⭐️WE ARE AT $560 OF $669 NEEDED FOR REVERIE’S CARE⭐️
🐾 We previously posted about the new girl, Reverie, who was dumped in the heart of Oklahoma City. Reverie has a couple different issues but the main ones are a partial cleft palate and a laceration on her side.

Her partial cleft palate is essentially a hole in the front of her mouth (at the top of her gums) which exposes her nasal cavity. This can be dangerous for her as food and other debris can get lodged in her nasal cavity or make its way down her throat to her lungs. While her laceration is not as concerning as her partial cleft palate, it is large and does pose a risk of infection.
This is where we need your help. She needs approximately $669 for her spay, laceration repair, cleft palate repair, vaccines, heartworm test and microchip. Any small bit counts!

⭐️WE ARE AT $560 OF $669 NEEDED FOR HER CARE⭐️
🐾 Meet the new girl, Reverie. We were contacted about her being dumped in Oklahoma City and living in a neighborhood since October. Of course, we didn’t want to say “no” so naturally we went and picked her up.
Reverie has a cleft lip which forms into a partial cleft palate. This means she has a hole in the front of her mouth that leads to her nasal cavity. That’s not normal and it’s really dangerous for her. She also happens to have a gnarly laceration on her side. Don’t worry, our vet has already checked her out.
This is where we need your help. She needs approximately $669 for her spay, laceration repair, cleft palate repair, vaccines, heartworm test and microchip. Any small bit counts!

⭐️⭐️In case you missed it, we took in a two dogs from a homeless camp the other day. 9 more dogs currently reside at the camp. The caretakers have now been provided housing and they can only take 3 dogs with them. Tuesday, we will pick up the remaining 6. Of course, we will be looking for homes as the dogs are ready (after spays/neuters and vaccines).⭐️⭐️
🐕🐕🐕Until then, we are happy to give an update on the two who are currently in foster homes. Houndie is a 5 month old Terrier mix who we found out loves children. She has grown very close to her foster mom and her human foster brother in the short time they’ve been together.
🐾🐾Hoppie was picked up by her new foster mom today. She got a bath and her foster mom reports that Hoppie is enthralled by the TV.
As we prepare to take on more pups, we will have additional expenses. Their spays/neuters, vaccines, preventions, and heartworm tests will all be paid for by a generous donor. However, we are asking for additional donations for toys and food for these sweet pups. There will be 8 total in our care. 🐾🐾

‼️‼️IN NEED OF URGENT HELP‼️‼️
We were contacted yesterday about 8 dogs 🐶🐶🐕🐕🐕🦺🐕🦺🦮🦮 who were being cared for by a homeless camp. The people at the camp were able to get housing but they can only take *some* of their dogs. They have a total of 11 dogs but they are taking 3. That leaves 8 dogs without a place to go.
These dogs need a place to go by next week (we aren’t sure of the date).
They are all currently healthy but in need of vaccines and spay/neuter. We’d love to work out a situations of either foster or foster-to-adopt for each of them.

🧨🧨We are in extreme need of donations as the two from this group we took today ended up costing a little more than expected since one was scared of vaccines and the other was limping from being shot by a BB gun.
They will be vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. This will cost us an average of $150 per pet if we are able to find fosters for all of them. If they have any medical concerns, the cost per pet will go up. That’s a total of at least $1200!!! We would also love to help the owner with the remaining 3 dogs’ vaccines, microchip, and spays. That’s at least another $450! Please help if you can!
Any help is appreciated 🐕🐕❤️❤️
