Our AMAOKC 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award Winner is... Rhonda Hooper!

Rhonda is President/CEO of Jordan Advertising a multi-faceted marketing and advertising agency. The agency was founded in 1961, and she is the third CEO in its history. Rhonda has worked in strategic marketing and branding from new business start-ups to Fortune 200 corporations in tourism/hospitality, foodservice, quick service restaurants, insurance, multi-unit retail, energy, apparel, manufacturing, government and nonprofit arenas.

She is Past Chair of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, where she currently serves on the executive committee as vice chair of business/economic inclusion, and previously as vice chair of economic development and convention and tourism development. She has chaired several governing boards: Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science & Technology (OCAST), the Oklahoma Business Roundtable, Leadership Oklahoma, the OKC Convention & Visitors Commission and Economic Club of Oklahoma. She currently serves on the Federal Reserve 10th District/Oklahoma board and on the Human Rights Commission. She is vice chair of the Feed the Children board, the OKC Economic Development Trust, and is a director of the OKC Riversport Foundation and Alliance for Economic Development.

In 2017, she was inducted into the Oklahoma State University Hall of Fame. She served as thenational chair of the OSU Alumni Association, was a founding board member of the Riata Center for Entrepreneurship, and currently serves on the OSU Foundation Board of Governors.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Journalism, with an emphasis in Marketing from Oklahoma State University, where she graduated as a Top Ten Senior.

Happy Birthday to the one who turns ideas into visual symphonies. The one who makes us laugh even when he’s not trying. None other than our creative director Randy Bradley! What would we do without him??

So how did Jordan Advertising get its name, anyway?

Warren Keeling 'Doc' Jordan partnered with Robert Kumler in 1961 to form Jordan Kumler agency. After Kumler moved on from the agency, Jordan Associates was incorporated. In the very beginning, the agency's main objective was the election campaign of Oklahoma's first Republican Governor, Henry Bellmon. The agency represented him in his successful U.S. Senate race as well as his second term as Oklahoma’s Governor. Our capabilities soon expanded beyond the political arena. Doc was a visionary, and it was our honor to follow his lead as we became one of the largest advertising firms in the state.

Very quickly, Jordan diversified industries and gained notable ground. Our client base grew significantly under the leadership of the agency's second CEO, Jeanette Gamba. She knew how to lead by example, earn trust, and use brands to tell stories. Jeanette served faithfully for 25 years and made invaluable moves during her tenure. She was succeeded by our current CEO, Rhonda Hooper in 2008 and we transitioned the company name to Jordan Advertising.

We are proud of our founders, our legacy, and our impact in Oklahoma and beyond for the past 63 years!

Jordan is proud to see our work unveiled as Life Science Oklahoma (formerly OKBio) shines a spotlight on Oklahoma's bioscience community! The rebrand is one of our most radiant recent projects, second only to their epic booth currently being displayed at the BIO International Convention 2024 in San Diego. We'll share the booth and more soon so stay tuned 👀

Two of Jordan’s execs, Rhonda and Mike, recently rubbed shoulders with peer agencies at the semi-annual 4A's / American Association of Advertising Agencies Diamond Forum in Chicago. Nationwide, there are 600+ agencies in the network; and forums are limited in size, allowing open business discussion and insight sharing which has produced strong connections and valuable dialogue with top agency leadership from around the country. We can’t wait until the Fall!

These large-scale tunnel walls now installed at Will Rogers World Airport have been one of our favorite projects for Visit OKC to date! We know firsthand the power of first impressions, so we're resting easy knowing visitors and locals alike are now being welcomed to OKC with these vibrant views!
