Louise has been hard at work smoking a ham and making pulled pork sandwiches, while the rest of us worked on the bake beans, Potato salad, and Spaghetti salad! This post is filled with deep sadness at the passing of an amazing, hardworking, very tough man. Mr. Jim “Jim Bill” Ury tragically lost his courageous battle with ALS this past Sunday, December 10th, 2017.

For those who would like to pay their last respects to this wonderful man in person, Jim's family would like to invite you to attend the visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home (500 SW 104th Street, Oklahoma City, OK. 73139) from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2017.

Jim’s funeral will be at 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at The Chapel at Resthaven (500 SW 104th Street Oklahoma City, OK 73139).

Immediately following Jim's funeral service the family would like everyone to know that there will be a celebration of his life at Sunset Bar & Grill (1140 SE 44th Street, OKC, OK.). You are welcome to bring a covered dish to share.
