BREAKING NEWS! Wedgewood is finally able to get the Canine Influenza Vaccine (H3N2/H3N8)! We won’t have it in until the middle of next week, but can let everyone know when it is in the building! If you’d like to get your puppies vaccinated against Canine Influenza Virus then please give us a call or contact us on here and let us know to add you on the list and to the schedule! The vaccine needs to be boostered 3 weeks after the first shot!

We are currently experiencing some technical difficulties with our phones! If anyone needs to call please contact us here. Hopefully we will get our phones back working shortly!

Due to the weather our practice will be closed all day 1/31/2023.

Merry Christmas to one and all! We hope this holiday season everyone is staying warm and jolly! Remember as Christmas nears there’s a lot of Christmas foods and also objects that can be harmful to our pets! Stay alert and safe this Holiday.

The holidays are the best time to learn what those extra holiday scraps add up to be for your fur babies! If you have any questions to what your dog can and can’t eat feel free to give us a call! We are operating with our regular hours everyday this week so we are open 7:30 am to 6 pm Monday - Friday and 7:30 am to 12 pm on Saturday!

Beautiful Chrissy, she is a Blue Belton English Setter and came in for her annual exam today! Just a friendly reminder to bring your beloved pets in yearly for an overall wellness exam to keep them in tip top shape!

Meet Baker! This was Baker’s first visit to Wedgewood Pet Clinic, he came in for his first round of vaccines he is 9 weeks old. He is a a bundle of joy in a little yellow/fox red lab body! We are looking forward to seeing Baker grow up! He saw Dr. Barker for his first round of DHPP vaccine last week!

Bath specialist Faith gave miss Stevie a sprucing up today! Stevie was the first pup for our Christmas bath special! We are running for the entire month of December! Give us a call at 405-848-3329 to find out our specials on baths!

Today is Milo’s first visit! He came in for his puppy vaccines! He is 11 weeks old, we are super excited to see how he grows up! He is a full black Pomeranian, and he saw Dr. Barker today. Schedule your puppy and kittens first visit today!

Walter would like to let everyone know our hours during the holidays! We are open our normal 7:30 am to 6 pm today, but sadly will be closed all day 11/24, 11/25, and closed on Saturday the 26th as well. We had the cutest bassets in today Gunnie is on the left and his little sister Earl P on the right! Little Earl P had her 3rd round of puppy vaccines today, we discovered during Gunnie’s nail trim that he loves our canned cheese! Of course sister had to have some too!

November 17th is National Take a Hike Day! Taking your furry friends hiking can benefit in many ways, you can cure boredom, give them extra exercise of course, it doesn’t require a lot of money to go hiking, and you will be building your pets endurance! These are just a small number of how hiking can be beneficial to you and your pets!

November 15th is National
Entrepreneur’s day! Today we celebrate our founder and owner Dr. Michael Benham DVM! Dr. Benham graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1970. He established the Penn Plaza Veterinary Clinic in 1973 and moved it to its current location at Wedgewood in 1991. Dr. Benham has retired from seeing new clients but is still at the clinic multiple times a week managing the ins and outs of his business.
