🌞🐾 Ensuring your pup stays sun-safe is essential!
Breeds such as Dalmatians, Bull Terriers, Greyhounds, and Dachshunds are particularly susceptible due to their coat colors and shorter fur. Remember to offer shade and apply pet-friendly sunscreen for prolonged outdoor activities, especially during peak sunlight hours.
If your pet experiences any level of sunburn, don't hesitate to reach out to us immediately!
Bucky, would like to make an announcement to our community 📣

For this following week as well on Thursday and Friday evening (no later than 6pm) until further notice. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding, while we work diligently to being there for your pet emergencies and being open 24 hours.
Please be sure to contact or reach out to other local 24 hour facility during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
🌞🐾 Is your dog showing signs of overheating? Act fast!
Move them to a cool spot and offer small amounts of water. Gently cool their paw pads, ears, and groin with cool water—never ice cold. Watch for heavy panting or excessive drooling. Let them rest in a quiet, cool area and ensure shade and water during outdoor play.
If symptoms persist, contact your vet promptly for guidance. Early action can prevent serious heat-related issues in pets.
🐾☀️ Summertime is a peak season for pet emergencies, including heatstroke, dehydration, water incidents, and burns from hot pavement. Keep our number handy for quick access in case of an emergency! 📞
🚨 THIS IS A SCAM! We will never request payment or share sensitive info over the phone. If you receive such a call, do not send money. Contact us directly to verify. Stay safe! 🐾
🔥🐾 Hot pavement can be dangerous for your dog's paws! Use the "5-second rule" to check: if it's too hot for your hand after 5 seconds, it's too hot for your dog.
If your dog suffers from asphalt burns, rinse their paws with cool water and check for blisters or redness. Keep them indoors and contact us right away if the condition worsens.
Make sure your furry friend enjoys a safe and fun pool time this summer! Always supervise, use life jackets when needed, take breaks, and rinse their coat post-swim. In case of a pool emergency, stay calm, provide first aid, and contact your vet or emergency clinic immediately. Act fast to ensure their safety! 🐾🚨
🚨 Keep your furry friends safe by avoiding these summer hazards! 🚨
If your pet ingests any toxic substances, follow these steps:
1️⃣ Stay calm and assess the situation.
2️⃣ Call your vet or an emergency pet hotline immediately.
3️⃣ Provide details about what was ingested, how much, and when.
4️⃣ Follow your vet's instructions carefully.
🐾 Understanding the difference between urgent care and emergencies for summertime pet incidents is crucial for quick action.
In urgent situations, you can often manage things at home or with a vet visit during regular hours. Emergencies like heatstroke or severe dehydration require immediate veterinary attention to prevent serious complications. When in doubt, always seek veterinary advice to ensure your pet's health and safety!
🐾 How can I prevent my pet from getting dehydrated? Here are 3 ways! 💧
If you notice dry, sticky gums, excessive panting, or dry, cool skin, these are signs of serious dehydration. Your pet will need immediate veterinary attention to prevent collapse or shock. Early intervention is crucial for their health and recovery!
Keep your pets safe this summer by avoiding peak heat hours! 🌞 Peak heat hours are typically from 10 AM - 4 PM. During this time, opt for indoor chill sessions with interactive toys, games, and training to keep them entertained and comfortable. 💡🐾 And don't forget the cuddles!
Did you know proper hydration is just as crucial for our furry companions as it is for us? Here's a valuable tip: Pets need approximately 1 ounce of water per pound of body weight each day to stay healthy and hydrated. Ensure your beloved pet gets the hydration they need by providing fresh, clean water throughout the day. Let's keep our furry friends happy, healthy, and hydrated together! 🐾💧
🚫 NEVER leave your pet in a hot car! 🚗🔥 Even with windows cracked, temperatures soar dangerously fast, risking heatstroke and even death. Remember: if it's too hot for you, it's WAY too hot for them. Keep your furry pals safe—no exceptions, no excuses.

🚨 Watch out for these 6 signs of overheating in your pet! If your furry friend shows any, act fast: move to a cool spot, offer water, wet their fur, and use a fan. Keep a close eye on them, and if things don't improve, seek veterinary attention ASAP.
