Congratulations to LTC on inspiring and growing the youth of Thurston County. 👏

To everyone involved in our pilot Youth Leadership Thurston County program, THANK YOU!

From our partners at New Market Skills Center to our program sponsors, our site visit hosts (many with multiple speakers), our bus drivers, and volunteer chaperones... we could not have done this without all of you.

Because of you, over 300 students had a day of community and career immersion field trips aligned with their New Market program! Some students will most certainly continue to explore that career field while others may be able to make an early decision to seek another path.

THANK YOU! We look forward to continuing to build our new Youth LTC program.

Today, we honor the historic day when freedom and equality triumphed over oppression and injustice. Juneteenth marks the end of slavery in the United States, but its significance goes far beyond history—it's a celebration of resilience, unity, and the ongoing fight for justice.

Let's reflect on our journey towards equality, acknowledge the contributions of Black communities, and commit to creating a future where every voice is heard and every person is valued.
