Richard lived a life of addiction until faced with going to jail or rehab. He chose rehab at the Olympia Union gospel Mission's Men's Life Transformation Program. He found freedom from addiction and experienced forgiveness and grace through Jesus Christ.

Join us in making a difference in our community by becoming a dedicated volunteer. Your time and effort can make a huge impact. Come be a part of something special! For more volunteer information, visit our website at https://ougm.org/volunteer/

After an incredible 13 years of dedication and hard work at the Olympia Union Gospel Mission, Lenore is now stepping into a new chapter with a well-deserved change of pace. But don't think for a second she's slowing down! Lenore's energy and passion are unstoppable, and she's still bringing her infectious spirit to the Mission as a volunteer. We're all cheering her on and wishing her nothing but the best in this exciting new adventure. Keep shining, Lenore!

Mission’s Humble Beginnings

Did you know that the Olympia Union Gospel Mission began in 1995? We are 29 years old this year and still sharing Jesus while serving the vulnerable and poor of this community. This is one of our earliest pictures handing out sandwiches and something hot to drink to the homeless on the streets of Olympia.
