Our guest speaker at the December 6th Hungry Club is Mr. Larry Duncan, LADC, LIMPH, LPC. Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services, Charles Drew Health Center. Larry is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner, Licensed Professional Counselor.
Mr. Duncan is originally from Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma. He has been the Behavioral Health Director at Charles Drew since 2019. He’s passionate about community advocacy and involvement. His personal mission at Charles Drew Health Center:
“To train and lead professional behavioral providers to provide competent and culturally relevant services to our surrounding community. I’m driven by the knowledge that unaddressed behavioral health problems can destroy the lives of those we love. As one of eighteen children born and reared on the Southside of Chicago, I wouldn’t trade my experience for that of others
