Dr. Lopez and his family had the privilege of serving at Falco’s Children’s Village in Tanzania. He saw 83 patients, and got to pray with each of them. He even had young local helpers! It never fails: When we serve, we are the ones most blessed.

Today we celebrate our wonderful Office Manager. Whenever Zonia is not working through a never-ending pile of insurance claims, explaining a complicated treatment plan, or preparing payroll, among a million other things - you’ll find her massaging an assistant’s shoulders, giving a team member a hug, listening to someone’s troubles, or making you laugh with some new Spanglish word she’s managed to make up. Thank you for the joy and love you bring to our every day. We love you, Zonia! Happy birthday!!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Verify patient insurance and gather all insurance coverage information
• Submit claims electronically and manually
• Submit treatment pre-authorizations to insurance
• Follow up with patients regarding insurance coverage (schedule treatment and/or explain coverage)
• Verify that patients are still eligible for services on the day of their appointment
• Enter insurance payments
• Follow-up with insurances regarding claim issues
• Support other front desk staff with answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking in and walking out patients, etc.

What we are looking for in the candidate:
Education and Experience:
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Receptionist/Office work experience
