🌟 Happy National Pet Groomer Appreciation Day! 🌟

Being a groomer may look glamorous, but behind the scenes, it’s a tough job! Our amazing groomers tackle bites, scratches, and the occasional wrestling match, all to make your furry friends picture-perfect. 🐾

Despite the challenges, our groomers go home after a long day, pick the dog hair splinters out, and get ready to do it all again tomorrow! We’re so grateful for our incredible grooming team who earn the trust of our clients and work hard to keep your pups comfortable and happy.

🐾Breed highlight: Beagles!🐾
Beagles were bred for hunting as they have an incredible sense of smell.
Fun fact: Their ears help their noses! Beagles have long ears that dangle by their noses to catch scents. Keeping these scents close to their nose allows them to take in as much information as possible!🐾

These adorable pups have been seen by our amazing groomer Kelsey! She values building bonds with the dogs she grooms and does anything she can to make the process easier for them. One of her favorite parts of grooming is shampooing a dog’s head, almost every dog enjoys relaxing and getting a good scalp massage! 🐾🛁🫧

Quick release collars can be a safer option during play over traditional buckle collars. Luckily buckle down has stylish options fit for every owner and every pup!

It’s time for another giveaway! To celebrate the spooky season, we would love to see your dogs looking fur-ocious in their favorite Halloween costumes! We will be accepting photo submissions in the comments until October 27th. We will hold a vote amongst our staff for their favorite costume, and whoever gets the most votes gets a FREE SPA BATH! Meet our new groomer, Kelsey! Our daycare and boarding guests probably recognize her; Kelsey started her career at Ruff House as a kennel technician almost 3 years ago. In her time as a kennel technician, Kelsey developed close relationships with our regular guests and has always given her utmost attention to ensuring the safety and comfort of all of our guests in the play yards. She was also the first of our employees to complete our online continuing education course, the Dog Gurus, now offered to all kennel technicians as a way to ensure our team is well-educated in the care and keeping of dogs. Kelsey has recently graduated from Animal Behavior College with a certificate in grooming and we are happy to have her on our team as our newest groomer!
