Meet our new groomer, Kelsey! Our daycare and boarding guests probably recognize her; Kelsey started her career at Ruff House as a kennel technician almost 3 years ago. In her time as a kennel technician, Kelsey developed close relationships with our regular guests and has always given her utmost attention to ensuring the safety and comfort of all of our guests in the play yards. She was also the first of our employees to complete our online continuing education course, the Dog Gurus, now offered to all kennel technicians as a way to ensure our team is well-educated in the care and keeping of dogs. Kelsey has recently graduated from Animal Behavior College with a certificate in grooming and we are happy to have her on our team as our newest groomer! Meet Courtney and her dog Maggie! Courtney has been working at Ruff House for over 6 months now and we have loved every minute of it! Her favorite part of working here is building relationships with the clients and her coworkers. Courtney has danced all of her life and loves aerial sports the most. She also loved being outside! We are happy to introduce our new enrichment program: treadmill training! Dog treadmills are an increasingly popular way to get your pup’s exercise needs met in a fun and exciting way! Our top of the line treadmill is specifically designed for dogs, making it a safe and enjoyable experience. At Ruff House, you can purchase a 30 minute session with our certified dog trainer in which she will acclimate your pet to walking on a canine treadmill. Upon completing 5 intro sessions within a 21 day period to ensure your pup is a good fit for treadmill use, they will be eligible for 15 and 30 minute treadmill services at a lesser rate and at a frequency that beat suits your schedule and pet.
