It is with a heavy heart that we announce our decision to close our doors at the Black Rooster Taqueria on Curry Ford Rd on Sunday June 30th after our brunch shift. The ultimate decision was not easy, but it is one that we have made with thoughtful consideration. We are deeply thankful for the incredible memories we were able to create there and the trust you've placed in us. Your patronage has been the foundation of our success, and we appreciate every moment we've been able to share with you.

Our family's dream has always been to run a small family-owned taqueria with excellent food and service. So, please don’t be a stranger!

Black Rooster Taqueria Chef John Calloway is bringing this fast casual taqueria to Orlando with locations in Mills 50 and Cu

It's an absolute honor to be included in the 2024 Michelin Guide as a recommended restaurant! We take great pride in our food and service and could not be more proud of our little taco joint. This is our third year making the guide and we've seen a large increase in international guests come in saying they heard about it due to the guide and for that we are grateful. There are a lot of places for people to chose from when traveling to Orlando and most people coming to the parks, it's quite something to see just how many people mention the guide as the reason they made the 45+ minute drive while here on vacation. The way the restaurant business has been these past few years, every little bit helps!
We want to thank our team, our supervisors and our Orlando community, and The MICHELIN Guide for including little places like us that serve our food on plastic trays, but care deeply about the quality, freshness, and flavor of our dishes. We are honored to be included with so many friends and peerss also on this list. Congrats to you all!
