It was a beautiful weekend for some baseball. The boys had a great first tournament for spring at the CFL USSSA Winter Warmup in New Smyrna Beach. The boys had fun back on the field and took home the WIN! This was the first time the boys have all been able to play together since we have not been able to get a practice in yet. Even had some home runs this weekend!

We’re a week late in posting, but still so proud of the boys for balling out last weekend in their first tournament on the big fields. Way to start out the 13U season. The boys scored a total of 54 runs and only allowed 4 in 4 games. Great start to the season.

Congratulations to some of our own! These three right here made history. Coach Big Red is the first coach ever at Cooperstown All Star Village to coach in back-to-back championships two weeks in a row. Jayden is the first player ever to be the starting pitcher in two championships back-to-back weeks and Xey is the first player to ever hit a home run in consecutive championships! Together these three went 19-3 in two weeks and walked over 100 miles combined going UP and down the dreaded and famous ASV hills. We are so proud of these boys!

WE DID IT!!!
Travel ball families wait 12 years for an experience like this. There were highs and lows but we all walk away with a lifetime of memories and a family that is stronger than ever. Also, a special shout out to our own Coach Matt who won Cooperstown Dream Park back in 1999 as a player and was able to coach our team and his son and win it again at All Star village as a coach. Not many can accomplish that!

FINAL FOUR BABY!!! LETSSSSSS GOOOO! 49 home runs for the team so far and 118 RBI’s! We have made it to the final 4 out of 43 team. We have played some great competition this week. Tampa Heat, let’s show um how us Florida Boys get down!

Late post: RUFF RYDERS FINISHED THIS SEASON THE SAME WAY THEY STARTED BY PLAYING TOGETHER AS A TEAM AND BRINGING HOME OUR 9th TOURNEY CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE SPRING 23’ SEASON. WE FINISHED 46-3 THIS SEASON AND ALTHOUGH ARE NATIONAL AND STATE RANKINGS WENT THE WRONG DIRECTION DESPITE BEATING TEAMS RANKED AHEAD OF US. WE CONTINUED TO IMPROVE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION ON AND OFF THE FIELD. WE ARE VERY PROUD OF THESE YOUNG STUDENT ATHLETES. THE MAJORITY OF WHICH RECEIVING HONOR ROLL ACCOLADES AND EVEN ONE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTEE. WE ARE LOCKED IN AND FOCUSED ON OUR SUMMER TRIPS TO THE ATLANTA PG WORLD SERIES AND COOPERSTOWN ALLSTAR VILLAGE IN NEW YORK COMING UP. THEN WE REST BEFORE PREPARATION TO ATTACK THE BIG FIELD💪🏾🙌🏾
