Meet the Therapist!
Jessica Matos is a credentialed Art Therapist who has worked in numerous clinical settings with diverse populations. She received her Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from Florida State University and has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with mental and physical disabilities and life-threatening illnesses across behavioral health centers, psychiatric facilities, renowned hospitals in the US, and abroad with other NGO's and schools in India and Guatemala.
Jessica has exhibited mixed-media artwork locally and internationally and has taught in public schools as a certified Art Instructor and taught yoga as a certified Hatha instructor. She has a strong passion to help others with mental health issues, as she has personally and professionally witnessed the hardships and triumphs of living beyond a diagnosis. Jessica loves helping others find their own path, discovering their gifts and cultivate healing through the arts, guiding them through a creative process towards personal enrichment and a balanced life.
