Halal is an Arabic word that means “ Lawful or permitted in Islam’ Halal a term used to describe food that is prepared in way considered lawful to Islam and not forbidden by the Quran.It is a term that is used in the Islamic religion in contrast with the word haram ( which means “ unlawful or not allowed “) These terms indicate which life practices are allowed or not allowed for those who practice Islam (Muslims) While halal refers to much more than just Islamic dietary practices, the term is most often thought of when taking about food, drinks, and other products.

পবিত্র কোরআনের সুরা আল মায়েদাহ আয়াত ৮৭ ,।
মহান আল্লাহ বলেন, হে মুমিনগন, তোমরা ঐসব সুস্বাদু বস্ত হারাম করো না, যে গুলো আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য হালাল করেছেন এবং সীমা অতিক্রম করো না । নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সীমা অতিক্রমকারীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না।
আয়াত ৮৮,
মহান আল্লাহ তায়ালা বলেন, যে সব বস্তু তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছেন, তন্মধ্য থেকে হালাল ও পবিত্র বস্তু খাও এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যার প্রতি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী।
পবিত্র কোরআনের মহান আল্লাহ নবী গনের উদ্দেশ্যে বলেন যে, হে নবীগন হালাল রোজগার গ্রহন করুন এবং নেক আমল করুন।

Prophet Muhammad (S) Said, “ The halal is that which Allah has made lawful in His Book and the haram is that which He has forbidden, and that concerning which He is silent, He has permitted as a favor to you ( Tirtmidhi and Ibn Majah)

অন্য আরো একটি হাদীস নবী (স.) বলেন, সত্যবাদী ও বিশ্বস্ত ব্যবসাইরা পরকালে নবী, শহীদ ও সিদ্দিকিনদের সাথে থাকবেন । তিরমিজি : ১২০৯.
অন্য আরেকটি হাদিস নবী (স.) বলেন, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তায়ালা পবিত্র এবং তিনি পবিত্র ছাড়া কিছু গ্রহন করেন না ।

নিন্ম বর্নিত কারনে এই ব্যবসাকে আমরা হালাল বলতে পারি ।

1. এই ব্যবসায় পবিত্র কোরআন সুন্নাহর আলোকে যে ব্যবসা গুলোকে হারাম হিসাবে গন্য করা হয়েছে সেই গুলো এখানে নেই । যেমন, হারাম পন্য বিক্রি করা, শুকরের মাংশ, মদ, গাজা, সিগারেট, অন্যান্য নেশা জাতীয় দব্য, লটারী, রাষ্টীয় ভাবে নিষিদ্ধ পন্য ইত্যাদি।

২. এই ব্যবসা শুরু করার পৃর্বে বিস্তারিত জেনে বুঝে শুরু করার সু ব্যবস্থা আছে। আপনার/ আমার উপর কোন কিছু ছাপিয়ে দেয়া হয় না ।সে ক্ষেত্রে আমাদের ঠকার কোন সুযোগ নেই ।অর্থাৎ লোক ঠকানোর কোন সুযোগ নেই এবং এই ব্যবসা করার জন্য কাউকে বাধ্য করা হয় না ।
৩. ব্যবসাটি আপনি যে দেশে বসবাস করবেন সে দেশের অনুমোদিত থাকতে হবে। সরকারী অননুমোদিত ব্যাবসা হলাল হবে না । আমাদের এই ব্যবসাটি সম্পন্ন সরকারী অনুমোদিত ।
আমাদেরকে প্রতি বৎসর সরকারকে জ্ঞাত আয়ের কর প্রদান করিতে হয় ।
৪. এই ব্যবসায় নির্ধারিত কোম্পানী কর্তৃক বৈধভাবে কমিশন বোনাস সহ সকল ইনকাম নির্ধারিত কোম্পানীর চেকের বা ডাইরেক্ট deposited এর মাধ্যমে হয়ে থাকে. কোন কিছু লুকানো হয় না অর্থাৎ আমার/আপনার ইনকাম কি ভাবে আসবে আপনি/আমি দেখতে পারবো এবং বুঝতে পারবো আয়ের সঠিক উৎস.

৫ এই ব্যবসার প্রাককালে সম্পূন্ন ডকুমেন্ট নিজে পড়ে বুঝে সাক্ষর করার সু ব্যবস্হা আছে। এবং মালিকানায় কোন প্রতারনা করা হয় না ।মালিকানা উত্তোরাধীকারগনকে সহজ উপায় বুঝিয়ে দেওয়ার ব্যবস্হা রয়েছে।

৬. এই ব্যাবসায় সুদ যুক্ত ব্যাংক বা ক্রেডিট কার্ড ব্যাবহার না করেও ব্যবসা আরম্ভ করা যায়। অর্থাৎ অল্প বিনিয়োগ হওয়ার কারনে আমরা সুদ যুক্ত বিনিয়োগ না করেও ব্যবসা শুরু করতে পারি । কেননা মহান আল্লাহ সুদকে হারাম করেছে, এবং ব্যবসাকে হালাল করেছে ।
৭. এই ব্যবসায় ওজনে কম দেওয়ার মত অপরাধ করার কোন সুযোগ নাই। এই ব্যবসার পন্যের কোয়ালিটি সারা পৃথীবিতে একই মানের, দেশ ভেদে পন্যের কোয়ালিতে কোন পার্থক্য করা হয় না ।

৮.এই ব্যবসা করার জন্য Eligibility হওয়া জরুরী. ১৮ বৎসরের কম বয়সের কেউ এই ব্যবসা করতে পারবেনা এবং অনাগরিক বা Undocumented কেউ এই ব্যবসা করা জন্য Eligible হবে না । সুতরাং এই লিগেল ব্যবসা করার জন্য লিগেল Person হতে হবে।

৯. সব কিছুতে সচ্ছতা রাখা হয় ।
