All I’m saying is, change is uncomfortable, but growth has been good to me 😊 And she’s not done yet!
As some of you may know, I got married about a month ago and my client made this beautiful sugar free, vegan cake for me! The best part was, she even put the nutrition label on the outside of the box because she knew I was calorie counting!
I can’t thank you enough for making all of my dreams come true with this cake
It’s wild to think about how much has changed in me and in my life between these two pictures.
The first picture on the left is in the middle of 2020. I was the cardio queen. Exercising 6-7x a week, trying to get as thin as I possibly could in order to find some sort of validation that my body was good enough. Eating in a major deficit and basically eating minimal carbs while tracking my every calorie. Only allowing myself 1 cheat meal a week. I was thin, but I still wasn’t satisfied.
Then we head to the picture on the right that I took on a whim this morning. Just came out of eating whatever I wanted and not tracking during Christmas. Yes I’m in a “cut”. I’m 15lbs heavier than the first photo, I’ve got a dumpy 🤪🍑, I allow myself the freedom to eat what I want, but considering how I feel and making sure I get enough protein. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. I’m happier than I’ve been with myself. And I’m more confident than I have ever been in my life. I currently work out anywhere from 3-5x a week depending on where my life and stress are at, but I adjust my workouts according to how I feel.
Things are so so good.
The difference?
Mindset.
2020 mindset: Get as thin as possible so people will like me and affirm me with my body image issues.
2022 mindset: There is more to life than my body. Let me get as strong as possible and lift more than the boyz. Don’t be afraid to take up space or fill out your jeans. Your worth is not defined by how you look.
And you know what’s wild? I’ve always had an issue with being hyper focused on my midsection, and yet in these two pictures, my midsection is about the same size even though I’m now 15lbs heavier 🤔 Food for thought next time you’re afraid of not losing the amount that you want.
Working in the fitness industry has been one of the biggest challenges I’ve had to face when it comes to my body dysmorphia.
But I can say that I’m learning more and getting better every day as I learn to love the changes I’m seeing. I hope to continue working on improving my love for my body at all stages.
Bloated or not, b***y pump or not, back “rolls”, double chin and all. I’m thankful to live well enough that I have a choice of what I put into my body and how I am able to move. And I’m thankful that I have a healthy body that is malleable and strong. 💪
Being “good” all day sets you up for inevitable binges. It’s a vicious cycle, but there’s a better way.
Eat enough food overall and make sure you eat foods you enjoy- so you can welcome a little bliss into your life every day.

In every season, I am learning and growing to become the best version of myself. Working through the things that hold me back and turning my weaknesses into strengths. But all of this wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for the light inside of me that shines into all of my darkest places.
That light is Yeshua (Jesus) through His Holy Spirit.
And each moment I am faced with the darkest corners of my heart, I know that facing it, and cleaning it and purifying it is what is going to truly heal me and make me whole.
So I’m facing it head on, putting on my big girl pants, and using my faith to change for the better. And when I feel to weak to face it alone, I turn my eyes back to Him. My God. The never-changing constant in my life. And I know that through my weakness, He is strong.
Take the dang photos ladies.
Even if you don’t feel 100% confident.
Even if you have to set up a tripod yourself.
Even if you gotta edit the dirt off your garage door 😂
Because it’ll be worth it in the long run.
So be your best self today ☀️☀️

It’s been a few months since I posted due to being super busy and rushing through my workouts to experiencing a lot of body dysmorphia and not wanting to see any pictures or videos of myself. Tonight was the first time I got to get through my whole workout without worrying about the time and actually getting to enjoy it. I hate sumos but damn this workout felt amazing. I think I’m gonna start working out late at night more often!

CLIENT OF THE MONTH 🎊🎉
Congratulations to one of the hardest working girls I know! Thalia has lost 9.5lbs and 4 inches off of her waist just this month! In the 2 months we have worked together she has lost a total of 18.5lbs and 4% body fat. I am so freaking proud to be your coach and see how much you’ve progressed. I can’t wait to see where we go from here!
I’ve decided to start doing Client of the Month on my page! Congrats to Sebastian who gained 4.2lbs of muscle this month while keeping his body fat percentage low! It’s been great to be part of your growth in the fitness world, and I can’t wait to see where we go from here!
Most people underestimate the power of rest and recovery. When training or performing strenuous exercise for multiple days, it is important to allow your body enough time to rest and recover. Having at least 2 rest days during your week allows time for your muscle tissues to repair and recover, which provides not only more energy for your next workouts, but also helps your muscle fibers adapt to handle more load and help you tone faster.
When the body is under constant strain every single day, your muscle fibers never really have time to recover and will continue breaking down with each workout. Causing increased general fatigue and plateaus in progress towards your goals.
So take a rest day! Go out in nature or spend time with family and enjoy all of the other aspects of life that help form who we are and who we become. ☀️🌊
I love hip thrusts tbh 😍
