Greetings colleagues! I also serve as Principal of Village Park Elementary and Chair of the Trauma-informed Subcommittee for the OCPS Mental Health Commission.
OCASA's purpose is to promote the general welfare, encourage unity, and establish communication between the components and exercise leadership forwarding the purposes and needs of the membership and the public schools. My name is Aleli Vazquez, and I am incredibly proud and honored to serve as President of the Orange County Association of School Administrators (OCASA) for the 2022-2023 school year

Dr. Monica Gordon, OCASA Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA) Executive Board Representative presenting this evening to the OCPS School Board. Dr. Gordon also serves on FASA’s Board of Directors as the representative of the Florida National Association Elementary School Principals. We are so proud of her leadership in legislative matters that impact our membership!

Did you know Orange County Virtual School is the largest virtual school in the State of Florida? Under the leadership of OCASA member Principal Brandi L. Gurley it has grown from 4 full time teachers to over 300 staff and serves almost 25,000 students. Way to go, Brandi!
