That was amazing!! Thank you to EVERYBODY that came by on such short notice to my impromptu popup at Uncommon Catering!!

I met so many people that have been wanting to try my food and were finally able to make it!!

I’m gonna try to get more popups closer here for you guys!

The logo you have seen was the transitionary logo from my previous logo to now. I have been working on this for over a year. So many incarnations and so many talented designers.

It is finally here.

This logo is the beginning of everything I am building Parlor to be: magical, eerie, whimsical, inviting, mysterious, cinematic, & artful.

You may notice the glowing lantern you see at every event built into the logo. A maze surrounding the wording. A beautiful gradient of colors.

‼️HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT‼️

I am sure you all have been wondering why I will not be having popups until September!

I was sought out by a marina in Wyoming to be a restaurant consultant & chef for, presumably, the next 10 weeks!!

If you know my story, I came from the bottom of the ashes. So to now be here as a restaurant consultant, as a result from my work, is MIND BOGGLING. This is coming just shy of a month after winning 1st place for best dessert in Orlando/Tampa!!!

What is life?!!!! I know I say this all the time BUTTTTTTT I CANNOT BELIEVE this is happening.

Have I laughed? All day.
Have I cried? For sure, I have no shame.

Forever grateful for the love & support you all have shared with me over the past 4 years. (As Parlor - 2 years)

I fly into Denver, CO today!

It just HAPPENSSSSSSSS to be my birthday!🥳

Of course I will be posting my day to day activities on my Instagram stories!

RIP DAD

Father’s Day is an odd time for me. I knew my dad pretty much up until I was 14 years old. As the years grew, for answers unknown, we grew apart. I saw him sparingly until his passing.
As a kid, he taught me kid stuff - how to choose the right bread loaf when shopping, where to go for delicious cheap food, treat people with respect, keep to yourself. Over the years, I had to learn the traditional lessons from a father to a son on my own - how to love, own your faults, care for the ones you love, maintenance on a car(admittedly, still have never needed to change a tire) and a COUNTLESS number of other lessons.

My father died in May of 2018. Devastated. My girlfriend woke up to my screaming/crying when I heard the news. It all happened so fast. My body went into shock. I couldn’t stand. I couldn’t eat. The world was gray. I last saw him in November 2017. It was almost cinematic the way I looked at him as I drove away. I had a gut feeling that was the last time I would ever see him.
But why? Whyyyy all of this for someone who, presumably, didn’t want to be in my life? When you lose a parent, you start thinking about life, death, and what this all means.

I’m writing to say this: Your world will flip upside down in a matter of seconds. You only have one father and one mother. Hold them tightly. NO MATTER HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR PARENT(S) - hold them close. Tell them you love them.
It’s a lonely, lonely world without. Coming from someone that lives in this kind of world.

When my dad was alive, without fail, he would find a penny on the ground every.single.day. It used to just absolutely boggle me. The very day he died, I have now found a penny every.single.day. I like to think a part of him lives within me.
It keeps me going.

To the fathers that show up every day.
To the fathers that aren’t able to be with their children.
To the fathers that can’t seem to catch a break.
To the men that love their SO’s children like a father.
To the mothers that fulfill the fatherly role every. fxcking. day.

Happy Father’s Day.

I, actually, can’t believe this is happening. This is our second win two years in s row for Judges Choice!!

My Foster The Banana cookie-stuffed waffle is a multi award winning dessert!!!!!!!

I gotta say….the transition from Table Ghost Kitchen to Parlor Kitchen was THE HARDEST thing I’ve ever had to do in my life. I had to literally suffer, cry, relearn, sacrifice, and regrow every aspect of my life.

I am so glad I stuck through it all. It feels so validating. I found something I love! I really feel like I have something special.

With being said, I am looking for an investor. A strategic investor to help really get this going and into my first location.
