Yesterday, our 4th graders had an amazing time at the Orange County Regional History Center! They participated in a mock trial, created their own clay pots, explored the fascinating world of archaeology, and so many other fun activities. It was a day full of hands-on learning and fun! Friday, October 25 will be a hurricane makeup day. Students will have a full regular day of school.

OCPS is continuing to monitor and track Hurricane Milton. Based on the latest forecast, all after-school activities are canceled tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 8 with the exception of after-school care which will end by 6 p.m. All schools and district offices will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024 and Thursday, Oct. 10.

School opening Friday will be determined based on the impact of the storm.

Throughout the storm the district will send messages to OCPS families by phone, email and text, as well as updates on district social media pages and on ocps.net regarding school operations.

🌟 Today marked the kickoff of Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week at our school! We celebrated with "Future You Day," where our students and staff dressed up as their future professional selves.

The Florida Department of Health in Orange County is offering free physicals and vision screenings to Orange County students up to 18 years of age by appointment.

The appointments are available 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following Neighborhood Center for Families locations and DOH-Orange’s Central Health Centers.
