Congratulations to Anay for winning first place at the Energy-Inspired Art competition at the annual Energy Whiz K-12 competition organized by the Florida Solar Energy Center. Students had to develop a webpage , post their original work, include videos of their work AND also present in person. We are so proud of him!

Please help spread the word! We would like to invite any senior who attended ARS to come back and walk the halls one last time and be cheered on by our current Eagles on Tuesday, May 21st at 2:15. We also extend the invitation to any teacher who taught the class of 2024 to attend.

Please arrive at the front office with your ID by 2:15. We will walk the hallways beginning at 2:30. There will be a reception immediately following in the media center. All parents/guests must be ADDitions approved to attend.

Yesterday our Latinos in Action students attended a Stronger Together Leadership Conference at UCF. This was a great experience for our students!

Future Problem Solvers State Competition was held at Wyndham Orlando Resort March 10-13. Arbor Ridge students placed 8th and 10th out of 34 junior 6th grade teams. We are so proud of our Eagles and how well they represented the Ridge!

Our next social for our middle school students is on Friday, March 1. Tickets will go on sale before school on Wednesday and Thursday for $3. Tickets will be $4 on Friday. Students can also pre-order a McDonald's Happy Meal for $5. They have a choice of chicken nuggets or a cheeseburger.

We will be starting Track tryouts on Tuesday, February 27. It will be from 3:15-4:30 on Tuesday and Thursday next week. On Wednesday it will be from 2:15-3:30. In order to tryout you will need to make sure you have a complete and uploaded registration and physical on Aktivate.

April is Autism Acceptance Month. We are offering a school-wide preorder for Autism and Inclusion shirts. The cost of a shirt is $15.00 each. Payment deadline is March 10, 2024 as we need to place the order in time to represent Autism Month (April). Shirts are available in youth S-XL and adult S-3XL.
Please indicate shirt size(s) when ordering and keep your confirmation number for documentation.

If you are purchasing more than one shirt, please make one transaction per shirt size.

Our basketball teams were treated to a special event today. They were chosen by Gatorade and had the privilege to go to the Advent Health Training Facility for the Orlando Magic. They went on a tour of all of the workout areas and the locker rooms. They then had a chance to hold their practice. Each athlete also received a pair of new Adidas shoes, a Gatorade bottle with their name and number on them, a Gatorade towel, and other accessories. They even got a video shout of from Cole Anthony! What a great time and experience for our students. Thank you so much to Gatorade and the Orlando Magic for providing this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Our basketball teams take on Glenridge Middle tomorrow so come on out after school to cheer on our Eagles!

We’d like to congratulate all of our Middle School Spelling Bee Contestants who won the preliminary round, and competed yesterday to represent Arbor Ridge K8 at our district Spelling Bee Competition. They all did a fantastic job!!!

We are so proud of Anay, 6th grade student, who will be representing Arbor Ridge at Districts.
