What an amazing day in Albany!

Oswego County Habitat for Humanity is proudly representing alongside other Habitat affiliates at today's Capital Build in Albany New York!
The volunteers will be constructing a house on the lawn of New York State's Capital Building. This home will then be given to a family in need! We will be joined by our elected legislators and other housing advocates in an effort to spread awareness of the importance of affordable housing!

Not only did we collaborate on a neighborhood clean up, the students from SUNY Oswego also helped us create blessing boxes!! These boxes will be installed throughout the community for anyone to use or donate to. Items that can be found in a blessing box include pantry items, hygiene supplies, baby items, cleaning supplies etc.
We had the best time creating these works of art! Stay tuned for installation pics!

Thank you to the SUNY Oswego students who gave up their spring break to volunteer with a number of organizations including Oswego County Habitat for Humanity! We had a great time raking leaves, picking up garbage, and sweeping sidewalks!

Oswego County Habitat for Humanity had the privilege of visiting Oswego Community Christian School last month to build bird houses with the students!
The students learned about community service and working together to achieve a mutual goal!
We are looking forward to collaborating with the students at Oswego Community Christian School again in the future!
