Announcing today we will be hosting several different events and initiatives again this holiday season to encourage local shopping, promote downtown businesses, offer youth activities, and drum up the holiday spirit. The holiday season is a special time here in the City of Oswego and we have developed a package of events and special initiatives to really focus on bringing more spirit and excitement to our community this year. This holiday season will be the first “normal” season following the pandemic, so we hope these programs and events really make a positive impact on restoring the traditional local holiday spirit.

If your child was not able to turn their coloring🖍 contest🎄 in at school🏫 today, don’t worry! You can drop their coloring contest off at the mailbox 📮located in Civic Plaza. Santa’s helpers will be making a stop there Monday(November 14) morning at 9:00AM to gather any last minute submissions.
🤩It’s that time of year again! The 2022 Coloring Contest has been distributed to all of the schools in the Oswego City School District. 🤩
Students in Pre-K through 6th grade are invited to participate this year.
One winner per grade level will receive a $25 gift card💳 that was generously donated by the Oswego County Federal Credit Union AND they are invited to go on stage with Santa🎅🏼 and Mayor Billy Barlow to push the button to light the Christmas Tree🎄.
Coloring contests are due by November 10, 2022. Your child can turn their coloring contest in to their teacher by that date, mail it in, drop it off at the Youth Bureau or put it in the mailbox at Civic Plaza.

Women 40 years and older are eligible if they have not had a mammogram in the past year and they show no signs or symptoms of breast cancer. The program welcomes insured and uninsured women.
