This week, dive into our activity as we make shark puppets!

Did you know that sharks don't have bones? Their skeletons are made of cartilage, the same flexible tissue that makes up our ears. We'd love to hear new shark facts when you visit us at one of our many stops!

BBQ-ING FOR BOOKS
The Friends of the Oswego Public Library and the Oswego Bookmobile are holding a Chicken BBQ fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 24 at Lighthouse Lanes, 295 East Albany Street, from noon until sold out. Let someone else do the cooking for you that day and benefit both the library and the bookmobile! Dinners include a half chicken, salt potatoes, salad and a dinner roll for $15 per meal. Pre-orders must be picked up by 2 p.m. that day. On site there will also be a baked goods sale, 50/50 raffle and raffle baskets. Get your tickets now at the main desk of the library or from any board member of the Friends or the Bookmobile.
