Happy 4th of July from all of us!

Doing some internal changes on our Small Block Open to get a little more power out of her.

We are looking for an extra hand for August 3rd at J&M Motorsports in Kentucky. We plan on racing one of our big motors, probably stock appearing. I will cover your pit passes, and food allowance at the track. You are on your own for lodging/travel or anything like that.

We won't be back in action on track til mid/end of july.

Saturday night race recap:

Our flathead ran awesome. The driver just needed to get used to it again, but overall it ran perfect. Had top 5 and top 3 finishes all night and even held on to finish 2nd in the main event. Should have made a couple minor chassis adjustments, but still very happy with the night

We have decided to officially take a few weeks off for personal obligations. Our next race night will be later in July for the "King of Clones" at K3 Karting. Thank you thus far to all of our supporters, family and friends. We are having a blast this season racing for fun and doing it all for the right reasons.

Our hotrod may be a little beat up, but make no mistake, we are ready for battle once again. Our Ultramax Evolve has been super quick these last few weeks, just had a little bad luck that bit us.

Tomorrow will definatly be a hot one, but after we scale in the morning, we will be ready. This will also be my first time racing a flathead motor that I personally refreshed. Let's see what the old girl has.

Motor monday!! Race engines everywhere 😎 between new builds and maintenance, it's hectic around here, but that's the way we like it. Our small block picked up a heat race win this past Saturday so guess we re doing something right.

This Saturday night will be our last race night before taking off 3-4 weeks for family and other reasons. Not sure what division we will be in just yet

Happy Father's Day to all of the past, current and future daddy's.

We may have gotten wrecked last weekend, but that won't stop us. This rocket is rebuilt and ready to do battle again. Can't thank Shawn Pittman at Ultramax enough for getting all the parts shipped out quickly so this was possible. Sure makes for a lot of work in under a week to get everything fixed.

I would also like to thank Gus at FBR tire technologies. We made the decision this year that since we do more traveling, we needed to take our tire and prep program to the next level. Super excited to continue working with them.

Come out to K3 Speedway tomorrow night for some great racing. We are finally gonna turn loose "Bluey" our open motor and see what it can do.

Made a chassis adjustment this past weekend, and found that the chassis really liked it. So excited to see what it can do when we get back on track. After our wreck saturday night, the kart is all tore apart. All chassis parts have been ordered, so now we wait for UPS. Not gonna arrive til end of the week so we will have a lot of work to get done to be back out this saturday. But make no mistake, we re coming with a vengeance!

On a bonus side.. it will be super nice to not be on burris tires this next race. Time to get this rocket back together.

"You win some, you lose some, you wreck some." Had a crazy fast kart, but got caught up in a dumb, stupid, incident that should have never happened. We scratched from our feature. We will live to fight another day.

The LFR engine shop has been in full effect. Just finished up and rebuilt our new flathead AKA "HELL BOY." Hopefully we will get to turn it loose soon. There's nothing quite like the sound of these motors.

Any of our race friends plan on going August 3rd to J&M in Kentucky for the 4th Burris Thriller series race? Debating squeezing in one more traveling track this year.

Races tonight are rained out. So....might as well keep going with our flathead race motor build. More parts scheduled to show Up this week, so hopefully we can get everything cleaned up so assembly can begin soon.

Next project!!

We have obtained a flathead race engine from an old friend of ours. This motor has been sitting on the shelf for probably close to a decade. The plan is to go thru the entire motor and clean everything up, then update and refresh this baby. Time will tell when we can actually get her on the track. Stay tuned for details...

Happy Memorial Day! Thank you to all of those fought for our rights to do what we love!

After doing some adjustments and a couple more upgrades, our OPEN "Bluey" motor is getting put back together. Not much longer and we will be turning her loose locally.

On a side note: I still have our CASH AKRA clone motor available for sale. Message me if interested. I can bring it to K3 in a couple weeks for pickup if you are interested.

Well racing last night did not go as well as we had hoped. We unloaded with a lot of speed but we must have used up all of our luck last weekend. Between the driver making dumb mistakes and a couple mechanical issues, we still managed to pull off top 5s in the heats and a 4th or 3rd place feature finish. We re off next weekend so we will get everything fixed. We may start swapping around motors and running a few different divisions. We are not points racing, so we re gonna try and learn as much as we can and have as much fun as possible

With the weather looking a little warmer, we re working a few sets of tires a little differently just so we can cover any possible scenario. Come on out this saturday for what is shaping up to be a "fight to the death"... ok maybe not that, but it's gonna be a great show 😎

You can pay for your membership and reserved pit spot this weekend as well. They are each $50 for the year. A membership gives you $10 off each driver entry every night for our normal classes and if you race at least 7 races you’ll get a trophy at the banquet. You can put 3 immediate family member drivers on one membership.

No grills in the pits and no parking vehicles without a trailer attached or a kart in the back in the pits.

Opening night at K3 was last night. We had a stacked field in our division with a lot of really fast and close karts. We started the night finishing 2nd in the first heat, then 1st in the next heat. We felt we needed to make a handling change for the feature to hold on. So we changed to a different set of tires that paid off. Started on the pole, lead every lap and brought home the checkered.

This brings our win total so far for 2024 to 3.

The LFR 16 Evolve will be at K3 tomorrow night in the LO206 class. Going on the scales in the morning to get everything set as our season starts at our home track. As we said before, we are running a limited season, so hopefully running a race or two with this motor then we will try and get a group together to run the small block opens
