Freezie pop Fridays are the best! We’re having a great time at the courts this summer!

And that’s a wrap! Mixed doubles completed an exciting week of city tennis tonight. Thank you to all participants from Munchkins to legends and the great support from the bleachers. You all make our city rec program so much fun!

Family doubles wrapped up tonight as well! Congratulations to: 1st: Adam & Noah Gross; 2nd: Pat & Rylee O’Fallon; consolation champs: Eric & Sara Meyer; and consolation runner-ups: Sam & Emma Walker.

Family junior doubles was as exciting as advertised! 1st: Ryan and Kellen Myers; 2nd: Brynn & Barry Russell; consolation champs: Evan & Ayden Sexton; consolation runner-ups: Aaron & Lucy Walker.

Here are some highlights from the week! Coaches Jason Garner and Ethan Krafft had a blast playing doubles together, Mother daughter duo Emma and Amy Stumpf had THE best matching tennis polos, Kevin Olesen and his daughters Ashlynn and Leah had some incredible custom shirts for their matches, and Leah Meonchow and Louisa Jeppson decorated any part of the courts possible with beautiful chalk art! Until next summer!😁🎾

Finished up the tournament tonight with mixed doubles and oh how fun it was! The perfect way to finish off our favorite week of the summer! Men’s Legends Doubles finished up earlier this week! Steve Johnson and Kevin Cavanaugh(right) fought hard against Ron Olson(left) and partner(not pictured) for the 1st place trophy! What a great match- so fun to watch!
