Matteuzzi & Brooker, P.C. is a team of trial lawyers that practice in state and federal courts throughout the Midwest. Our office is located in Overland Park, Kansas. We specialize in trucking defense, catastrophic personal injury, business litigation, insurance coverage, and appeals.
We are looking to add an associate attorney to work primarily in our trucking defense group. Responsibilities will include client/witness interviews, analyzing company documents, preparing discovery pleadings, conducting legal research, drafting motions, etc. An ideal candidate would have 1-3 years of experience and be licensed in Kansas (and Missouri).
We have an immediate opening for a workers compensations attorney to prosecute claims. Responsibilities will include client/witness interviews and intake, case management and work up, and settlement negotiations/trials. An ideal candidate would have experience defending claims or representing claimants in Kansas and Missouri and the ability to independently manage a growing docket.
All applicants should be self-starters, eager to learn, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate organizational/communication skills. Compensation will be consistent with experience. Email resume, cover letter, and writing sample to Matt Brooker ([email protected]).
