Please consider trying out for Stevenson’s Mock Trial Team! It is a fantastic way to practice your public speaking skills, learn to think on your feet, and connect with legal professionals! Information sessions are Tuesday, August 27, and Satuday, August 31.

WE CAN, WE WILL, WE MUST-ANG!!! It is with great honor that we announce Team Gambini’s FIRST PLACE finish at the annual Black Squirrel Invitational!!🎉🏆 With a record of 10-2 this team showed just what it means to be a Stevenson Mustang!

TWO TEAMS, TWO BIDS!! We are extremely excited to announce that both Team Atlas (1545) and Team Medusa (1025) will be advancing to the Opening Round Championship Series. Our mockers have worked tirelessly these past few months and we are beyond proud of them!

Congratulations to Stevenson’s 1018 Mock Trial team for winning First Place at the Johns Hopkins 2022 Blue Jay Invitational. We additionally are honored to have won the Johns Hopkins Blue Jay Invitational Spirit Award, for embodying the values of civility, justice, and fair play along with the University of California, Irvine.

Additional congratulations to Alexa Thomas, who won Outstanding Witness, Eric Williams, who won Outstanding Witness on Prosecution and Defense, Apreah Smith, who won Outstanding Attorney, and Anne Clevenger, who won Outstanding Attorney.

We thank George Washington, William and Mary, Temple, and Dayton for excellent in-round competition and wish all teams best of luck.

We look forward to competing this February at Regionals! Go Mustangs!

Stevenson's 2021 - 2022 Mock Trial Season officially began this past weekend with our 1018 and 1019 Mock Trial teams competing at Dickinson College's Annual Red Devil Sleeping Bowtie Invitational. Congratulations to Stevenson 1018 who came in 4th place of 26 teams and to Stevenson 1019 who performed extremely well against some of the strongest teams in the competition.

Special shoutout to each member of our program who competed for the first time this weekend!

Thank you to Dickinson for hosting a wonderfully-run and competitive tournament. Additional thanks to Franklin and Marshall, Auburn, University of Alabama, Seton Hall, and Alabama at Birmingham for great in-round competition.

A huge congratulations to Stevenson’s Mock Trial A Team, who placed first out of 18 teams in this weekend’s Johns Hopkins Invitational Tournament. In addition three students were recognized with individual awards: Apreah Smith and Messeret Sium for outstanding witness and Norman Greenwell for outstanding attorney.

Stevenson Mock Trial finished up a GREAT fall season at Yale University this weekend, taking 5th place in their division! Congratulations also to Apreah Smith for earning an Outstanding Witness Award!

We are so proud of the success we have seen this fall, and we look forward to the spring season!

It's been a busy fall for Stevenson Mock Trial! We have a lot to celebrate, including a 3rd place win and an Outstanding Attorney award for Wes Schrum at the University of Pennsylvania's Quaker Classic, as well as an Outstanding Witness award for Messeret Sium at Haverford College's Black Squirrel Invitational. This past weekend, SUMT hit the road for Rutgers University's Scarlet Knight Invitational, and returned home with a 2nd place win, an Outstanding Witness award for Juan Mercedes, and Outstanding Attorney awards for Jenna Blevins and Wes Schrum. We're so proud of the success we've seen so far this fall and are excited to compete again at Yale University in a couple of weeks!

Stevenson Mock Trial had a fantastic first tournament at La Salle University! The A team ended with a winning record of 5-2-1 and took third place overall while the B team ended with an impressive winning record of 5-3 against some stiff competition! Congratulations also to Apreah Smith for winning an "outstanding witness award" with a perfect 20 ranks! Looking forward to continuing the success at Charm City Classic in a few weeks!

Tryout information is now available for the 2019-2020 Stevenson Mock Trial Team! Join us as we build on last year's historic season and attempt to qualify two teams to the Opening Round Championships! Information sessions will be held in the Pugh Courtroom in the School of Business on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, or Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. This weekend, Stevenson Mock Trial had the honor of competing for the first time in the Opening Round Championships in Central Islip, New York. We had four competitive rounds with NYU, Lafayette, Fordham--Rose Hill, and Wesleyan. We're also incredibly proud of our individual award winner Norman Greenwell, who earned a witness award for his portrayal of Dr. Hawkins! Most importantly, we're incredibly honored to earn the Honorable Mention for the Spirit of AMTA award! We had an amazing time this weekend competing against and learning from some of the best teams in the country, and we're so excited for next year!

Next stop, Opening Round Championships!

This weekend, Stevenson Mock Trial had the honor of co-hosting the American Mock Trial Association Owings Mills Regional Tournament on the Owings Mills Campus. Stevenson A 1441 earned the FIRST bid in program history to the Opening Round Championship Series with a record of 6-2. Additionally, we're celebrating individual award winners Eric Williams (Witness), Marriah Boyd (Attorney), and Jaden Thornton (Attorney). We are incredibly proud of the work everyone in the program has put in this year, and we are so grateful to everyone who has supported us!

Stevenson A and B competed at Drexel University's Dragon Invitational this weekend in Philadelphia, PA. Stevenson A earned the second place trophy with a record of 6-2, and we earned 6 individual awards! Congratulations to Top Attorneys Danielle Ebbighausen (A) and Marriah Boyd (B) and Top Witnesses Apreah Smith (B), Norman Greenwell (A), Messeret Sium (A), and Marriah Boyd (B). We're incredibly proud of our fall competitive season, and we're looking forward to implementing case changes and getting ready for the spring season!

Stevenson Mock Trial attended Elizabethtown College's Blue Jay Invitational this weekend, and had a very impressive showing! A Team took first place, with a record of 8-0! B Team took third place, with a record of 4-2-2! We're so proud of both teams, and can't wait to keep practicing and improving for our next competition!

Both A and B teams competed at Johns Hopkins last weekend against a competitive field of teams. Both teams were very successful; A team won honorable mention with a record of 6-2, and B team ended with a 4-4 record in its first tournament. To top it off, B team’s Jaden Thornton and A team’s Lindsay Somuah each won outstanding attorney awards!
