What is Halotherapy?
Halotherapy is an alternative treatment that involves breathing salty air. Some claim that it can treat respiratory conditions, such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, and allergies. Others suggest it can also:
ease smoking-related symptoms, such as a cough, shortness of breath, and wheezing
treat depression and anxiety
cure some skin conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema, and acne.

A device called a halogenerator grinds salt into microscopic particles and releases them into the air of the room. Once inhaled, these salt particles are claimed to absorb irritants, including allergens and toxins, from the respiratory system. Advocates say this process breaks up mucus and reduces inflammation, resulting in clear airways.

The salt particles are said to have a similar effect on your skin by absorbing bacteria and other impurities responsible for many skin conditions.

Salt is also said to produce negative ions. This theoretically causes your body to release more serotonin, one of the chemicals behind feelings of happiness.

Some women worry they have the early signs of dementia. For many it’s a relief to discover the fog is hormone-related.

It’s Here!! Today I turned 60!! Wow. My birthday month has been unmistakable different than the priviouse ones since I started steeping out on faith in this small business world. This month seemed to be about learning. My weeks have been empty of clients and filled with learning new skills that’s needed for me to grow. I’m understanding my goals and I’m seeing a path towards them. Entering into a new road at 60, I have found to be scary and yet, so exciting. Well, more about that later. Stress and anxiety in Black Americans has risen 26% since the pandemic. It was a blessing to see a client’s stress and anxiety level come from an eleven, (what she told me on a scale 1-10) to a 2 after she received a Vibrational Sound Therapy Session! It was also really cool to find out the pain in her legs from exercising was drastically decreased!!
After her session, we had a discussion about the stress and anxiety and I was able to give her some tips and techniques to use at home.
