This September, Turning Point Recovery Community Center is celebrating our 5th Anniversary! Since 2019, we have been dedicated to providing support, resources, and a safe space for those on their journey to recovery.
Over the past five years, we've grown into a thriving community, offering a number of programs, hosting inspiring events, and witnessing incredible transformations of people finding recovery.
We couldn’t have done it without the support of our members, volunteers, and partners. Your strength and commitment inspire us every day.

Did you know that there are Recovery Groups specifically designed for those who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing? The groups are held over Zoom and are accessible for all and include American Sign Language. You check out the graphic for dates and times or contact [email protected].

Stop by Turning Point and learn about Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome. This is a complex syndrome that can occur after someone has stopped using substances.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and celebrate our Fifth Birthday! We have accomplished a great deal.
Our Overdose Quick Response Team which visits an overdose survivor within 24 to 48 hours to check on their health and offer treatment options.
Our Mobile Access to Recovery Van - meeting people where they are on the road to recovery with substance use disorder treatment information, harm reduction tools and more. The MATR Van has reached nearly 2,000 people just in the last year.
Also, this past year, we have had more than 20,000 visits to our offices, hosted nearly 100 outreach events in the nine counties we serve and have distributed nearly 2,500 free doses of Narcan.
We couldn't do this without the support of Four Rivers Behavioral Health and the entire recovery community.
Thanks for the last five years, we can't wait to see what we do in the next five!

BREAKING NEWS: Today, Gov. Beshear announced that, along with three other counties, Calloway has been certified as a Recovery Ready Community!

The Sentinel would like to congratulate all of those who worked so hard to earn this distinction for Calloway County. And a special shout out to our board member Jereme Rose - Jereme, you are a blessing, not just to The Sentinel but to our community as a whole; thank you for all you do!
