Annabelle the map turtle isn’t in her habitat at RDC!!! Don’t worry. She and Ms Krystal are on a field trip to for Turtle Talk. Annabelle is loving the art, the riddles, and of course being the center of attention in a new place. The next Turtle Talk is at 2pm. If you are in the Princeton area, please come join us!
Happy retirement to Julie Harris, Executive Director of River Discovery Center. Many friends and supporters gathered this afternoon to wish her the best in her next adventure and congratulate her on being honored by Mayor George Bray as a Duchess of Paducah!
Day three of Wriggly Wonders Camp included freshwater mussels, snails, stink bugs, and Assassin bugs! We made filters like our mussel friends, made slime like our snail buddies, and played what’s that smell while we learned about stink bugs. Assassin bugs were not deployed during camp.
