Gearing up for Halloween week! Starting Thursday (10/24) students may wear their Halloween costume to dance class!
If your dancer attends multiple days a week, here’s some themed costume inspiration!
*Please make sure all costumes can be danced in safely - no masks concealing the eyes, and appropriate dance shoes must be worn!*

We’re back! It’s been a long few weeks, and we’re excited to be back dancing with our Suncoast family. Make-up classes are available to all students due to the disruptions from Hurricanes Milton and Helene. Please ask your child’s teacher or check our class schedule for an appropriate/comparable class.

Regarding tomorrow’s classes, the studio is still without power. Hoping that power is restored soon, and that we can be dancing together again next week.
In the meantime, we hope that our Suncoast family has passed through the storm unscathed and with minimal damage. Please let us know how you are doing!

In accordance with Pinellas County Schools, we will be closed Monday-Thursday this week. Updates to come regarding Saturday classes, and will be communicated via social media. We wish safe travels to everyone evacuating, and safe passage through the storm to all our Suncoast families.

Their commitment to education is helping us give our dancers experiences that will make them versatile, thoughtful young artists.

Senior Addy R. began her journey at Suncoast in 2013, and has continuously captivated us with her remarkable talent and versatility in the performing arts. She was a member of Art In Motion for several years, and her love of performing led her to Musical Theatre. She has proven her passion and dedication throughout the years, taking classes at Suncoast while becoming an integral member of her high school Drama program, and starring in multiple productions - most recently as Roxie Hart in Chicago Teen - which earned her a spot as a Top 12 Finalist for this year’s “Best Performer” award! She is a true Triple Threat, and we are certain that her dreams of performing on Broadway are not far off!

Addy will be attending in the fall as a Presidential Scholar, and will be pursuing a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre!

Senior Brenna K. began dancing at Suncoast at the age of 3, and has been a member of Art In Motion for 10 years. She is a shining example of unwavering commitment to excellence both academically and artistically. She is an incredibly versatile dancer, and throughout the years has developed a wonderful grasp of movement clarity which lends such maturity to her movement. Her hard work and technique shine through in any style she performs. She is deeply intelligent, has strong integrity, and is a caring friend and role model.

Brenna will be attending , double majoring in Psychology and Dance.

Senior Lee A. began dancing at Suncoast in 2016, returning after a brief hiatus to finish out their high school years with us. Intelligent and cultured beyond their years, Lee’s passion for music is inspiring. Their thoughtful questions in class and interest in how to properly execute movement is appreciated by their teachers, and their love and dedication to dance will be greatly missed.

Lee will be attending and studying Mortuary Science.

Gearing up for a new season of Art in Motion! AIM performing company auditions are taking place across two days this year:
Saturday, May 18th - Tap and Acro
Tuesday, May 21st - Jumpstart, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, and Hip Hop!
We’re excited to see all the talent - new and returning - in the space at this year’s auditions!

Gearing up for Recital Day, this week is IN-STUDIO dress rehearsal and photo week!
Dancers will attend class at the studio on their regular day and time (with the exception of Saturday classes/rehearsals - see 2nd slide) IN COSTUME!
