Look at that~ stars, we had so much fun this weekend!!

And as the sun goes down, so too ends our final day of ACEcon....well, at least until next year~ we had so much fun seeing everyone, and getting to party with you! What was your favorite part? Did you get some really good pictures and prizes? Personally we loved the empenadas ❤️

We can't wait to see all the cool stuff that happened for you, and please feel free to tag us in all your pictures! But for now? We think it's time this lil fox and alien cat take a well deserved rest. See you all next year!

Hi METRO fans! Our friends over at ACEcon have invited us back this year to host a panel! We’ll be playing games, giving out prizes, and doing some Q&A’s about panel hosting, volunteering, cosplay contests and more! We’d love to have you join us Saturday March 9, at 2pm in “The Chill Zone” panel room! ⚙️

Heya everyone! This is just a reminder; tomorrow is the last day to submit art for the Mascot contest! If you don't get it in tomorrow, it doesn't get put in the guidebook, so nows a good time to book it!!

Sooooo....you know how we said earlier that for the Joker Mascot Contest, you only could draw Joker himeslf? Weeeeeell, that wasn't exactly true. You see, this year there are actually two mascots we're celebrating with, since it's our 10th birthday and all. You all of course know Joker.... but how many of you know that Joker actually has an older brother?

Meet Acey, the original mascot of ACEcon! Acey came to life one day when one of our very own Anime Club members decided to gift him to us, and after some adventuring of his own he's decided to come hang out with us this year! Turning 10 is no small matter, after all~

So if any artists are brave enough to tackle BOTH mascots this year for our contest (or even just one of them), we certainly wanna see it!

The days are winding down, and ACEcon is steadily creeping closer and closer...so you know what time it is?

Joker Mascot Contest time!!!

In this contest, we want to see our beloved mascot Joker Spade in your style! Sketch it, go digital, or even paint it if you want. So long as it looks like our Joker, we wanna see it!

Best entries will get a place in our upcoming con guide book! Submissions must be kid friendly and must be submitted by March 1st to [email protected].

Things are steadily coming together here at ACEcon central, vendors chosen, contests open, and panels settling into their time slots... But we have to wonder... are there things you're hoping to see again this year from us? Any ACEcon traditions we just have to bring back? It is our tenth birthday, after all, and we wanna share our wish with you all!

We here at ACEcon central know you've all been waiting patiently for news; Did we get some weird panels this year? Have vendors been selected yet? Did we finally manage to catch that little white dog that's been stealing all our french onion soup? Well, we finally have some answers for you!

Or, well... one answer really. To the question about vendors.

Vendors for ACEcon 2024 are being selected as we speak. and let us tell you...it hasn't been easy. But there's still time to submit your application before the final choices have been made. On November 10th, Vendor forms will be closed for any more applicants, and letters will be sent before thanksgiving.

Thank you all for being so patient with us, we hope to hear from you soon!

Interested in selling your art or merchandise at ACEcon? Have a panel you wanna show off to the world ( or at least a couple nerds)? Well this is the page for you! Down below we have two brand new forms for those wishing to be more than just attendees; The Vendor and Panelist Applications! Check it out METROCON fans! Our Gear Sprites are going to be invading ACEcon this weekend at the Palm Harbor Library! They are so excited that anyone who takes a selfie with them and posts with the hashtag METROACE23 will be entered into a drawing for a FREE PAIR of tickets to METROCON 2023! The Sprites will see you all tomorrow!

Closing in as one of our final contests (besides the super secret scavenger hunt... not that there is a scavenger hunt. what scavenger hunt?) for the event is the TikTok Film fest! Interested in duking it out with your fellow TikTok-ers? Submit your TikToks to via Instagram or [email protected] to enter for a chance at cool prizes! Note: all Tiktoks MUST be PG.

Now for the contest we've all been waiting for... the Cosplay contest! Now this contest really knows how to show off in style, and also comes with some pretty heafty prizes, so make sure to come out and strut your stuff for us on Sunday March 12!

This is it... the count down before we get down and party hard at ACEcon next week! But today's the final day before the mascot drawing contest shuts down, and winners get put into this years guide book. So get your submissions in by the end of today by sending them to [email protected]!

Want everyone to take photos of your totally cool cosplay? Do you want to get photos of some of your favorite cosplayers? Well, not without submitting a Media Release form first! If you want the whole con to know that you're ok to take pictures, then print out and sign the form below and submit it to ACEcon staff the day of the convention. You'll receive a special ACEcon exclusive button that lets everyone know you're ok to ask for photos!

Please note : a photography button does NOT equal consent! Always ask for permission before taking pictures.
