A very special heartfelt thank you to all our hard-working volunteers who, in many cases, worked multiple days and multiple shifts to help us get through the event. You made it look seamless even when we were scrambling at the last minute. We couldn't have done this without your support. Our success is reflective of your willingness to give back to your community, and for that, we are very grateful.

Thank you to our 20+ food vendors who worked tirelessly to feed and satisfy one of the largest crowds we've experienced. Well done!

Thank you to the entertaining acts and bands we had play over the last three days. There wasn't a moment we weren't having a good time.

And, last but not least, thank you to everyone who came out to visit us, who enjoyed some good food and drink, who rocked out to our musical acts, and who most importantly spent some quality time with friends and family, since that's what's all about!

In 2012, Jim and Nicole Hanlon were living in Chicago raising their three year-old when they learned twins were on the way. Their immediate reaction – they had been triple scoop’d! The couple decided to make Park Ridge home in 2015. Jim would make his commute into the City everyday but would drive past the same empty storefront imagining that the space could be perfect for his business. In what now seems to be a serendipitous coincidence, they were introduced to another local family, the Capannari family, and soon after began to work closely with them to develop triplescoopdicecream. Today, Jim and Nicole are proud to serve you the best ice cream. As Jim and Nicole say, “Some people love one scoop, others are brave enough for two, but we dare you to live on the edge and follow our lead. Life is better when you get 'Triple Scoop’d.'” They can’t wait to share their love for ice cream with you the Taste of Park Ridge!

Ginger Road is Chicago's rip-roarin' country band, and the Taste of Park Ridge will have them on our main stage at 6:45pm on Friday, July 19th!

Ginger Road covers a lot of ground, blending the latest Country hits by artists such as Luke Bryan, Jason Aldeen and Florida Georgia Line, with Country classics by Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash. With their rock roots, Ginger Road will also pepper in a few Southern Rock classics by legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Allman Brothers.

Ginger Road features local music scene veterans “Singin’” Dave Burnell on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Mark “Madness” Maciasz on lead guitar and backing vocals, Doug “Johnbones” Johnson on bass and Carmen "Carms" Taglia on drums. These four musicians combine exceptional talent with an engaging mix of positive energy, faithful interpretation, audience inclusion, and humor.

The band has performed at some of the top country stages including, Tootsie's (Nashville); Rippy's (Nashville); Toby Keith's (Rosemont); Old Crow Smokehouse (Chicago, Schaumburg), Bub City (Chicago); The Saloon at 115 Bourbon Street (Chicago) Rockin Horse (Chicago); Firewater (Chicago); and Skooters (Shorewood). Grab a drink and drink and enjoy the show!

At the end of the day/night, Ginger Road knows its all about fun (and a lot of it).

Japanese Chef and Restaurateur Kenta Ikehata opened his first ramen restaurant in the Midwest. Chef Ikehata was trained at Tsujita in Tokyo, a beloved artisan ramen brand, which was selected one of the best 10 ramen shops in Tokyo by the readers of Japan Times in 2019. In 2024, Chicago Ramen Park Ridge became his latest endeavor. Come visit the Taste of Park Ridge and try their Garlic Shrimp Maze Soba, Spicy Garlic Maze Soba, and Shaved Ice! Wear your organization’s t-shirts or polos; handout your literature, cards, and trinkets; and sell those tickets! This is also a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, connect with old acquaintances, and give back to your town. We will try hard to accommodate date and shift requests.
