💫 Loose-Fitting Clothing: Opt for comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. This allows the acupuncturist easy access to the areas of your body where they will place the needles.
💫 Layered Clothing: Wearing layers can be helpful. This way, you can easily adjust your clothing to expose specific areas while staying warm and comfortable.
💫 Short Sleeves and Pants: If possible, wear a short-sleeve shirt and pants. This makes it easier to access your arms and legs for needle insertion.
💫 Avoid Tight or Restrictive Clothing: Steer clear of tight or restrictive outfits that may hinder your movement or cause discomfort during the session.
💫 Comfortable Footwear: Choose easy-to-remove shoes, as you will take them off and use our comfy in office slippers!

Proper sleep is such an important tool for recovery! Here are 2 things you can do to ensure restful sleep 🛌 (and prevent morning crankiness) 😜
🥘 You can improve your sleep naturally with food. Some plant-based foods contain melatonin, which helps regulate sleep. For instance, drinking tart cherry juice regularly can add about 30 minutes to your sleep and improve its quality. It also has antioxidants that can reduce muscle soreness and boost strength, which is great for athletes. Kiwi is another good option because it naturally contains melatonin and folate, helping you sleep nearly an hour longer and fall asleep 15 minutes faster.
💤 Another thing to add to your lineup is glycine, which is an amino acid that calms your brain and lowers your body temperature. Taking 3 grams of glycine before bed can help you fall asleep faster, sleep better, and not feel as tired during the day. It even helps your brain work better when you haven't had enough sleep.
Adding these simple changes to what you eat can really help you recover and feel better overall.
