Staging the News and Sentinel Races would not be possible without the generous support of area business. Large and small companies and their people step forward each year to provide the goods and service necessary to hold the races. Some businesses donate monetarily, while others lend the race a hand. Golf carts, trucks, cups, pasta and shirts are a few of the things that are donated each year to make the race happen.
Below is a list of the companies that help make the race possible.
Parkersburg News and Sentinel, Highmark West Virginia, The City of Parkersburg, Solvay Specialty Polymers, Copland Health Systems, Wood County Commission, WVU medicine Camden Clark Medical Center, Kuraray, Gatorade, United Bank, Waste Management, West Virginia Drug Testing Laboratory, River City Runners and Walkers and the Road Runners Club of America.
Plus... Boys and Girls Clubs of Parkersburg, Culligan Water, GoMart, Greater Parkersburg CVB, North End Tavern, Panera Bread, Sam’s Club, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Shirt Factory, V96.9, Wendy's, West Virginia Army National Guard, West Virginia Central Credit Union and KMA Auto
