One of my favorite things to ask lately is if there’s a childhood pose that you and your siblings used to do. Thankfully they did have one and the aftermath was priceless 😆 don’t worry, no one got injured!

Can’t gush enough about Melissa and Cameron’s wedding! It’s the way that they look at each other🥹

Anyone else feel like the months just keep passing by? I feel like September just started and now we’re almost in October!

We’ve been pretty busy over here! Lots of client calls and wedding prep + we’re also getting ready for our trip to the Philippines!

Jatin and Katie are from Canada, so when Jatin reached out saying he was planning on proposing here in sunny California, we hopped on WhatsApp to start planning!

He wanted a secluded area with views of SoCal so I recommended one of my favorite spots in Palos Verdes. It was the perfect day for them! Wildflowers, views of the ocean, and a gorgeous sunset played as their backdrop.

And of course, she said yes!💍

Josh and Semmie’s wedding was a heartfelt one filled with lots of laughter, care, and great food and coffee! Everyone was so down to earth and it was just one of those days where everything fell right into place. Can’t wait to finish editing the rest of their gallery! I already know it’s one I’ll always look back on fondly🥰

There were so many things to love about Diego and Aimee’s wedding:
+ all the happy tears at the ceremony (it was easier to find someone crying than not!)
+ their first look
+ first and parent dances

one of my favs:
+ Aimee smiling at Diego while saying “I’m stuck” on the bridge after their first look 😆 if I wasn’t right beside her to hear that, I would never have guessed what was going on!

But truly, the best part was seeing how much love their family and friends showed them during their special day. So many feels🥹 Congrats you guys!!

Upon meeting them, I noticed that Giang and Jun had a gentle kind of love. It was the perfect pair to their golden grass location and creamy neutral palette.
So tailored my prompts & poses to match their vibe - more walks in the field, longer hugs, conversations to reminisce.

Giang was telling me that they’ve been together for so long that it was nice to get all love-dovey again with all the hugs and kisses I was making them do 😆 Thank you for sharing your story with me!

Boris and Maria ♡ Their love is radiant and so full of zest. I love being surrounded by their energy and witness their love grow. Can’t wait to share more of their proposal story!

First touch. We adore it. Just because you don’t want to do a first look before the ceremony, doesn’t mean you have to miss out on sharing an intimate moment with your partner!

Vivian and Michael wrote letters and read them.
They wanted this moment to be just for them, so we attached our long lenses on our cameras to give them space, appointed people in their bridal party to halt traffic so that people don’t walk up to them, and tested Michael’s trust in us as Andy led him blindfolded to Vivian so he truly doesn’t see her 😆 Once all was set and quiet, they had the world to themselves, and it was beautiful.

And yes, you best bet we floof-ed Vivian’s beautiful train beforehand! 😉

Were the words that Banaf and Topher said while standing on their driveway, where their wedding reception was to be held, before we headed off to get them married at Desiderio Park.
Everything that was a part of their wedding was an accurate depiction of the life they built together: their first look in their apartment, reception on their driveway surrounded by the garden Topher worked on, Banaf’s colorful cape because she loves vibrant colors, and cruising on their bike into their reception (fun story to follow hehe) because biking is life🚲 And of course, the moment wasn’t completed until Topher graced us with his **perfect hair flip😆👏👏

Youssef and Alexandria’s proposal was all kinds of beautiful! Youssef’s family brought the arch and decorated the proposal spot (can you believe it?!) and went off to hide when we were ready to head down to the beach. It was such a perfect setup for them and was so worth it just by seeing how happy they were🥰

We took a couple days for some r&r and to visit family and friends in Arizona this week! Had to get these sweet sneak peeks done for Elizabeth & Henry before heading out! We loved watching them celebrate their day with the most special people🤍

Some details from Johnna and Nick’s wedding 🤍

Your wedding timeline should consist of the moments that matter to you most!

Vivian and Michael’s wedding has been our longest running so far this year! 9 hours of coverage and the last 2 hours being for portraits, where we drove to two different locations: one in Mulholland Drive and one in UCLA.

They rented out the cutest vintage car for their Mulholland Dr portraits and it was such a blast focusing on them and seeing them overjoyed just by being with each other.

We had THE BEST time with and their hype squad! Seriously stared at the weather forecast for 2 weeks, praying it wouldn’t rain on their day, and thankfully it didn’t!

We were obsessed with the ✨atmosphere✨ at the beach + the jokes, laughter, and happy tears that came with it😍

Nick and Johnna’s wedding was THE dream of all dreams✨

Apart from all the unforgettable moments that took place, we also never seemed to run more than 20 minutes late from schedule and we somehow always made up for it without stressing🙌🏽

It was such a beautiful day! Can’t wait to share more🤍

California storms couldn’t stop us from capturing Haley and Steven’s love! The clouds crept back, the sun came out, the hills were green and a river rolled out like a red carpet- talk about a magical setting for engagement photos!! 😍

Haley and Steven are all about hanging with family and having a nice drink with friends to relax. From meeting them I already know the warm and loving wedding day they’ll have surrounded by their closest loved ones. I can’t wait!

Thinking of doing a motherhood mini session day next month! Hoping the wildflowers will still be there or that it won’t rain on the day 😆

Still brainstorming ideas buuut it’ll probs be in the LA or OC areas. Stay tuned!

I love days leading up to weddings. Prepping for them, going over final timelines, laying out what matters most to our couples…I love it all!

Johanna and Nick’s wedding is coming up and I’m already excited🤩

Melissa and Cameron’s sweet engagement session. They kept me amused the whole time and I loved hearing stories about Melissa and her architect colleagues attending weddings and pointing out things that need to be fixed at the venue 😆

Tips for your wedding detail images:

⋒ Set all the items you want photographed aside the day before your wedding, so they’re ready & all together when you hand it off to us for prep and detail photos!

⋒ Ask your florist (or whoever is prepping your florals) to set aside any leftover flowers/bulbs/greenery so we can incorporate them in your flatlay! Flowers/greenery really pull everything together.

⋒ Sent digital invites but want them included in your wedding album? You can have a set of your invitation suite printed out for photos and as a keepsake :)

⋒ Feel free to include other things that mean a lot to you or are included in your wedding such as: catchalls, photos, wedding fabric, props.

⋒ Flat lays and detail shots take time to set up! These don’t take 15 minutes to set-up. Give an hour (or at least 45 minutes) for us to create and capture all the different details for you to remember forever ∞

We’re alive!! It’s been such a great busy month for us, and I’m excited to **finally** have a moment to sit down and share some images from Tram & Jason’s wedding!

It was the best match: views with snow-capped mountains and rolling hills were perfect for Tram & Jason’s love for the outdoors, and they wanted their photos to tell that side of their story🤍

Ollo from !! It’s me, Andy! Marijo and I try to visit the gardens as often as work/life permits. It’s one of our favorite places to chill, walk, or read a book. Every season offers something slightly different too, which is great since it’s easy to miss the seasons changing in SoCal. The art galleries at Huntington are fantastic as well. I like to examine the landscapes and portraits to get insight into lighting for camera. Always something to glean from the painting masters! is a recent inspiration :p
