On June 18th, Compost Culture held our first annual gala to celebrate one year as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and it was a huge success! Thank you to all of our volunteers that spoke about their experiences, our keynote speaker Laurie Wheeler, Ella Beyer for performing, and everyone that came out to support us. It’s been an important year for Compost Culture, so we are grateful that we could celebrate it.

Laurie Wheeler is South Pasadena’s very own President/CEO of the Chamber of Commerce, and will give a speech at our gala this Saturday. Come out to support our cause and listen to some wonderful speakers! 📣

Steve is another departing senior that we will greatly miss for the time he dedicated to Compost Culture through driving. Thank you Steve! 🎓

At this time of year, our senior members are starting a new chapter in their life as their journey with high school and Compost Culture ends. We’d like to commemorate all that they have done for this organization with a few words about their experience.

First up is Philson, our Finance Director, who we cannot thank enough for all of the time and effort he dedicated to Compost Culture. We’ll miss you! 🎓💚
