When I was 17, my football coach gave me advice I will never forget โคต

One choice can change your entire life.

I started working out when I was 17, trying to build muscle without really knowing what I was doing.

Like most beginners, I was making a lot of mistakes:

โŒ Working out every day
โŒ Eating crappy foods to gain size
โŒ Working out "The Mirror Muscles" (only the ones I could see)

Until one day, my football coach said to me โžก๏ธ that I will never forget.

If you want to build your body correctly, ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐—บ๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป.

Here are a few things to consider in any great fitness plan๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Work hard and then rest (and recovery) the following day
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Train your whole body to keep it balanced and symmetrical
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Support your workouts with quality protein and healthier foods

So here is what I did๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ I wrote out my workout plan for each week.
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ I trained large (and small) muscles on specific days.
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ I recovered between workouts by allowing my body to rest.
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ I focused more on the food quality, not just the quantity.

๐Ÿ“ŒThat day, my whole life changed!

I got leaner.
I got stronger.
I felt great inside and out.

I never stopped working out.
That was 38 years ago.
It's who I am now.

Intense exercise can trigger hunger, leading to overeating and stalling your progress.

Pay close attention to what you eat, especially after a workout. The good news is that you can manage hunger and stay on track with a few habit tweaks:

1๏ธโƒฃ Slow Down: Savor your food! Eating and chewing slowly helps you feel satisfied with less total calories.

2๏ธโƒฃ Frequent, Smaller Meals: Aim for 4 meals every 4 hours to keep your metabolism humming.
