When I was 17, my football coach gave me advice I will never forget โคต
One choice can change your entire life.

I started working out when I was 17, trying to build muscle without really knowing what I was doing.
Like most beginners, I was making a lot of mistakes:
โ Working out every day
โ Eating crappy foods to gain size
โ Working out "The Mirror Muscles" (only the ones I could see)
Until one day, my football coach said to me โก๏ธ that I will never forget.
If you want to build your body correctly, ๐๐ผ๐ ๐บ๐๐๐ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐ป.
Here are a few things to consider in any great fitness plan๐๐ผ
๐๐ผ Work hard and then rest (and recovery) the following day
๐๐ผ Train your whole body to keep it balanced and symmetrical
๐๐ผ Support your workouts with quality protein and healthier foods
So here is what I did๐๐ผ
๐๐ผ I wrote out my workout plan for each week.
๐๐ผ I trained large (and small) muscles on specific days.
๐๐ผ I recovered between workouts by allowing my body to rest.
๐๐ผ I focused more on the food quality, not just the quantity.
๐That day, my whole life changed!
I got leaner.
I got stronger.
I felt great inside and out.
I never stopped working out.
That was 38 years ago.
It's who I am now.
One choice can completely change your life.

Hitting the gym is fantastic, but let's be honest - sometimes it leaves you ravenous!
Intense exercise can trigger hunger, leading to overeating and stalling your progress.
The key? Awareness.
Pay close attention to what you eat, especially after a workout. The good news is that you can manage hunger and stay on track with a few habit tweaks:
1๏ธโฃ Slow Down: Savor your food! Eating and chewing slowly helps you feel satisfied with less total calories.
2๏ธโฃ Frequent, Smaller Meals: Aim for 4 meals every 4 hours to keep your metabolism humming.
3๏ธโฃ Protein Power: Prioritize lean protein and veggies daily for sustained energy and satiety.
4๏ธโฃ Processed Carbs? Not Today: Skip white bread, pasta, rice, and sugary treats. They'll only lead to a crash later and then more eating. ๐
