Our training sessions are going strong! Cloee has moved on to learning advanced cutting design techniques, advanced foil techniques, is now Certified in spray tanning (book a spray tan on Wednesdays with her!) and is gaining speed with her lash extensions! Did we mention that she is DreamCatchers hair extensions certified, too?!? She will be taking models soon if you’re looking for length or fullness!
We have opened her Wednesday afternoon books for some services and will be adding more as she completes our advanced training in each discipline.

I have been in education since 2001. When I started working with Pureology Professional Color Care I was 25 almost 26. I was able to align myself with people who were better than I was at doing what we do and I learned a LOT! I made connections that will last a lifetime! How do I know this? Because 23 years later there are people I ran into, connected with and hugged fiercely that I’ve known this whole time. People who have seen me go from a newbie stylist, to support, to on-stage presenter, to wife, mom, and now Redken Artist and business owner with my own team of newbies (people 5 years or less.) This opportunity to take my team to Nashville was nothing short of amazing! We were able to get 2 solid days of education from 9-5! Real stuff we can use with YOU- our clients but also stuff that excites us as stylists! Things that makes us think differently. Redken Symposium turned 50 this weekend & I hope someone wheels me in to see it when it turns 100! 🎂(I’ll take my team’s grandchildren with me and introduce them to my friends!)

We’re back! Exhausted…but we’re back! Please ask about the experience! They extended the show by two hours so we didn’t get in until 3am this morning. So for us, it’s time to rally! We’re here and ready to serve because YOU’RE ALWAYS #1!

We have been on the move! Tuesday our team participated in WELLNESS IN THE PARK. We were able to connect with nearly 100 area residents giving away samples and discussing solutions to hair loss. ✨One lucky winner will receive a FREE Scalp Facial 😍 The hottest treatment of the summer! ✨Cloee Caldwell continues her training post graduation and is now working on advanced cutting curriculum, custom foil patterns, and she and Ky continue to make big leaps in their lash extensions! EDUCATION THURSDAY:
Yesterday the Van Buren Tech Career Camp stopped by for a visit. Each camper was given a tour, a swag bag and the opportunity to learn more about the Harvey House of Paw Paw. These 6-8th graders have enjoyed a week of intensive learning in the field of cosmetology. They are working on a fashion color project and we’re just as excited to hear about the results as they are! Thank you Jennifer Moore-Sturgis for always including us in your programs! We ♥️ our next generation!

EDUCATION THURSDAY:
This week has been FULL of learning for the Harvey House team! Ky continues his lash training focusing on the delicate art of lash extensions. Then on Monday we had the fabulous experience of having Kelly from Surface Hair take us on a deep dive into the Awaken system for fine thinning hair. The Entire team is now certified and able to provide our New Scalp Facial service! Add this deep scalp detox and treatment to any service for the ultimate in scalp health and self care.

Apparently yesterday was unofficially Dress-like-your-boss Day. 😂

Congratulations to the entire Van Buren Tech Cosmetology Class of’24! After completing 1500 hours of training these ladies are ready and prepared to take their State Board examination.
