PVD Movement Ensemble

OUT LOUD Theatre is Providence, Rhode Island’s exclusively experimental movement ensemble of artists, led by Founding Artistic Director, Kira Hawkridge and core ensemble members Marc Tiberiis II, Siobhan LaPorte-Cauley, Natasha Cole, and Justin Fortin.

OUT LOUD Theatre creates highly physical, visually arresting, visceral, immersive, and collaborative ensemble productions “where movement dominates over dialogue, and the imaginations of the ensemble run wild.”*

Utilizing their original movement ensemble methodology and lab mentality, OUT LOUD Theatre devises, adapts, and reimagines new and existing material into a yearly 3-Part series based on a common and expansive theme chosen by the ensemble (ie: Season 4: I Am the Public Domain in 2016, Season 5: That Way Madness Lies in 2017, Season 6: Seeing is Believing in 2018, and Season 7: Mortals & Monsters coming up in 2019).

OUT LOUD’s work has spanned from their circus themed adaptation of King Lear, to their fully immersive and interactive 1300sq ft Art Installation and Performance Art Exhibit based on Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland entitled WONDER, to their most recent wholly original and devised production of ESCAPE, focused on one woman’s journey through grief after the death of her twin brother, told entirely through devised movement and music.
