Start the school 🏫 year off right with a sweet treat for your teacher! Recipe 👇🏽

🍏1 stick of butter
🍏1 cup of Karo Syrup
🍏14 oz of condensed milk
🍏2 cups light brown sugar
🍏1 tsp vanilla extract

Clean apples with hot water and dry.

Combine all in heavy pot, STIRRING CONSTANTLY on medium until caramel reaches 250 F. Remove, add vanilla extract, stir, dip and decorate. Makes 10-12 small to medium apples.

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies are my absolutely FAVORITE holiday cookie. Let's be honest I make these ALL YEAR LONG.

The middle is thick and fudgy like a brownie, with crisp edges like a cookie. My recipe is simple with very little chill time.

These are definitely a crowd pleaser at any holiday event.

Recipe 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

1 2/3 APF
1/3 unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp instant espresso
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 vanilla extract
1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
4 oz unsweetened chocolate
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cup of sugar
1 Tbs buttermilk

1 cup of powder sugar

First microwave butter and 4 oz chocolate in two 1 minute cycles until smooth. Add buttermilk and set aside

Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, espresso and salt and set aside

In a mixer combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients, add eggs and vanilla extract until well combined. Cover with plastic and chill for two hours

Use a round tablespoon to scoop chilled batter, roll in powder sugar, place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Use the back of the spoon to slightly flatten top and sprinkle more powder sugar on top.

Bake on 350 for 15-18 minutes
