Are you the proud owner of a lovable mutt? Celebrate National Mutt Day by sharing your favorite memory of your furry friend!
International Day of Friendship is July 30th and the perfect opportunity to celebrate your best fur friend. Plan some special time with your loyal companion and remember all of the wonderful memories you have shared.
If you notice your pet's fur has become thinner, duller, brittle, or dry, take note. Cancers of the pituitary, thyroid, and adrenal glands can cause your pet's coat to change. For more information, give us a call: (832) 669 3800
Get your cameras ready! July 26th is National Dog Photography Day and the perfect time to share your favorite picture of your pup.
Did you know that the greatest factor in a pet's skin cancer prognosis is how quickly their owner following up with their vet after they notice something odd? If your pet has bumps, lumps, or skin discoloration, don't ignore them. Paying close attention to your pet's health goes a long way when it comes to detection, treatment, and recovery.
Did you know July is Sarcoma and Bone Cancer Awareness Month? 85% of canine bone tumors are osteosarcomas--which are highly aggressive and painful. 80% of osteosarcomas spread rapidly to the lungs. If your dog develops a limp or lameness in a limb, don't put off a vet visit. Contact us: (832) 669 3800
Pets often intuit our moods. While your pet is being treated for cancer, worry can become an extra burden for them in addition to the side effects of their treatment. Help your pet feel their best with affection and attention.
We often spend a great deal of time asking pet owners questions about their pets. The more information we have the more empowered we are to provide your pet with the best care. The same is true for you. If you have questions regarding your pet's diagnosis. (832) 669 3800
Every year, millions of pets are lost. July is National Lost Pet Prevention Month and a great time to take some extra precautions to keep your pet safe. Consider getting your pet microchipped or purchasing an ID tag to improve your pet’s chances of returning home.

Proper hydration promotes the best health for pets. Water dish fountains are a great way to encourage pets to drink more. Here are some easy ways to improve your pet's hydration: The sound of the water ignites their thirst instinct. Wet or canned food contains more water. Adding water to your pet's kibble increases their daily water intake. The more water bowls throughout the house the better!
Brain cancer or pain related to cancer can turn your pet's personality upside down. If your pet no longer takes interest in the activities they once loved, it's a good idea to bring them in for a veterinary check-up. (832) 669 3800
