She asked about maintenance my end goal is always to make sure it looks seamless when it grows out ( no harsh stripey look) so typically 12-16weeks depends on you truly. Some don’t like the “lived in look” at that’s fine too. I have clients to see once a year -everyone’s needs and wants are completely different and that’s OK as well.

When you look good, you feel good, and then do good. Do it for yourself. Yes, get your nails done, or diy them, soak your feet in epsom salt ( dr teals ) read, journal, workout. You’ll notice how everything changes around you. ( YouTube is great resource)as well. I was Kroger this past Saturday picked up flowers that were so pretty and when I walk by the kitchen I smile. Little things are everything 💕

I guess if you’re gonna do your hair, you might as well go all out😍 she had not done her hair in many years. So late in posting super behind but I thought I’d share.

Happy THURSDAY! This color correction turned out so good, pics don’t do it enough justice😍

She had done red herself 2/3 times and previously we had done blonde her ends being much lighter.

She is getting red for son’s wedding so she just wanted it fixed.

Time 2.5 hours / end goal was take all red out make her hair brown and try to give her some dimension of possible throughout. She didn’t want boring, flat hair love it! And curtain bangs. ( not everyone wants a photo sesh and that’s ok)

Fall 🍁hair never looked better 😍

.This was a new client. She had sent me some pictures of what she was wanting to do. She also sent me pictures of her hair currently.

So during her consultation we talk about the overall color she was wanting and I told her I would guide her the best way I could.

With new clients it’s extremely difficult. We don’t know what your previous stylist did, etc so many factors.

So what I’m thinking was going to be a blonde beautiful makeover turned to a mega stop. Im checking foils and her mids of her hair were not budging 🤔time to bring in the reinforcements.
There is nothing wrong with single color hair but dimension is great and I want your hair to look EXPENSIVE!

Something that was suppose to be blonding is now a color correction.

The color that was done prior was permanent. ( permanent color throughout the hair is extremely difficult to budge not impossible but definitely going to now be a process)I’m no one to shame anyone on why they choose to do what they did but this was now becoming challenging and turned into a color correction.

To my luck she was nothing but understanding and made the process so calming 🙌. ( in 4 weeks we will see how the color looks and move forward)

This was the after definitely not perfect but
Promising. I took as much as possibly could with the least minimal damage.

Trust the process! Wash less, protect your investment, ask questions. I’m always here to help.
