Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this message finds you well. It's with a heavy heart that my husband Kyle and I share some challenging news with you all.

Recently, I received a diagnosis that has profoundly impacted our lives I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer called mesonephric-like adenocarcinoma of the uterus. The news has been incredibly difficult to process, and it has brought forth a whirlwind of emotions.

After much consideration, we made the tough decision for me to transfer my care to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. While being away from family, Kyle and I believe Moffitt's specialized focus on cancer care and access to clinical trials will provide us with the best possible treatment options for this rare cancer.

On April 3rd, I will undergo a hysterectomy. In the meantime, I'm undergoing more extensive testing to check for any signs of metastasis. The uncertainty of what lies ahead feels daunting, and there are moments when the weight of it all feels overwhelming.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for the outpouring of support and love you've shown us. Your messages, prayers, and words of encouragement mean more than words can express. This journey is incredibly challenging, but knowing that we have your unwavering support gives us strength.

We also want to acknowledge the grief and sadness that comes with this diagnosis, especially the realization that we won't be able to have children. It's a loss that we're still coming to terms with, and it adds another layer of heartache to this journey.

I want to take a moment to acknowledge my mom's incredible support during this time. She has been my rock, keeping me above water and organizing all doctor's visits, along with so much more. Her love and care are beyond words, and I am deeply grateful for everything she does.

We will be keeping everyone informed through Facebook updates, especially during times when communication may be overwhelming individually. Your continued support and understanding are deeply appreciated as I navigate through surgery and beyond.

Thank you for being a part of our lives and for standing by us during this incredibly difficult time. Together, we can face this with courage and resilience.
