We’re thrilled to announce the delivery of custom-branded The City of Baton Rouge and Coca-Cola UNITED recycling receptacles to Baton Rouge City Hall!

During a recent visit, Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome expressed the need for easier recycling for city employees. Thanks to Baton Rouge Coca-Cola Sales Center Manager Keith Biedenharn’s proposal, we’ve sponsored three new receptacles for waste, aluminum cans and plastic bottles, now installed and ready for use! ♻️🌍✨

As part of National Water Safety Month in May, our Shreveport Coca-Cola team partnered with Academy Sports + Outdoors, the Red River Waterway Commission and Barksdale Federal Credit Union to give away 450 life jackets to children in their community.

"The turnout was amazing and our team was there in full force assisting with fitting each child with the correct size life jacket," said Shreveport Coca-Cola Sales Center Manager Wayne Lancaster. "I'm extremely proud of all our team does to be great community partners."

Thank you, Atlanta, for turning trash into treasure with us! Your participation in the Thrive - Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM) Corporate Challenge has made our city cleaner and greener. Out of the 17 companies that participated, Coca-Cola UNITED placed second with 100 contributing associates and 15,676 pounds of recyclables. 🎉🌟 What a success! Love the Boot Week in Louisiana surpassed all expectations this year thanks to the dedication of our amazing associates and volunteers.

We're thrilled to share that material was collected from 60 groups. And the impact doesn't stop there – we diverted 7,044 aluminum cans (293 pounds) and 6,847 plastic bottles (330 pounds) from the landfill through recycling efforts. Guests were treated to hot dogs off the grill and ice-cold Dr Pepper Creamy Coconut.

We’re excited to present a special Christmas multimedia show that will debut this holiday season at the Mississippi Aquarium. The show will open on Thanksgiving and incorporate projection mapping, dynamic lighting and music to deliver an awe-inspiring and magical experience for aquarium visitors.
