🚧Adams/Jefferson One-Way to Two-Way Weekly Update🚧
Sidewalk removal work has begun at the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and NE Adams Street, near the Peoria County Courthouse. Work also continues at the intersections of Fulton Plaza and SW Adams Street. The sidewalks near 123 and 201 SW Adams Street have limited pedestrian access. Sidewalk work at the intersection of Main Street and NE Adams Street is nearing completion. CSO Control Project Year 4 Public Meeting -- Aug. 28

• Pack only what you can eat, reuse, recycle, or compost.
• To cut waste, purchase foods in large/bulk containers and then portion into small reusable containers.
• If you are including perishable items, make sure to have a reusable ice pack.
🎨🖌 Paint a Plow Program Applications Now Being Accepted 🎨🖌
Public Works is currently accepting applications for its Paint a Plow Program. The Paint a Plow Program is open to Peoria Public Schools students and area organizations. 🚧 Hickory Grove Road Closure-- Aug. 22 🚧
Beginning at 7 am on Thursday, Aug. 22, W Hickory Grove Road will be closed from N Granite Street to the entrance of Stone Water Park. The closure is necessary for pavement work and is expected to last two weeks, weather permitting. 🚧 Water Street Road Closure-- Aug. 22 🚧

🚧 Pioneer Parkway Pavement Pouring -- Aug. 19 🚧
Beginning at 7 am on Monday, Aug. 19, pavement pouring will occur on Pioneer Parkway as part of the Pioneer Parkway and University Street Intersection Reconstruction Project. The pouring work is expected to last through the day, weather permitting. 🚧 University/Pioneer Parkway Intersection Turn Lane Changes 🚧
Beginning at 7 am on Wednesday, Aug. 14, a change to the northbound University Street right turn lane onto eastbound Pioneer Parkway will occur. The turn lane will be shortened in length and is necessary for utility work as part of the Pioneer Parkway and University Street Reconstruction Project. Multiple road closures and parking restrictions will go into effect around the Bradley University campus this week. These restrictions are necessary for Bradley University’s Student Move-In Day. Drivers should be mindful of these restrictions and use caution in the area. Delays should be expected on N. University Street between W. Columbia Terrace and W. Main Street, and at the N. As part of the MacArthur Highway – Martin Luther King Jr. to Moss Avenue Reconstruction Project, temporary stop signs have been placed at the intersection of MacArthur Highway and Moss Avenue.
